Pathology is an intersection between basic science and clinical knowledge. Being in love in diagnostic medicine and directly observe the disease with our eyes makes pathology is a fantastic medical field to explore. I do agree that "the hallmark of good pathology is the one who find out new things that they don't know, and excited to figure it out and learn something new". Thank you for the sharing session. Premed and nurse (RN) here and I'm applying to medical schools in a couple years hoping to pursue my dream of becoming a pathologist! This further confirmed this is the career for me as I've had a lot of shadowing hours already. Loved the conversation and questions - Dr. Goldberg is very well-spoken and an inspiration. Absolutely enjoyed her honesty about her journey.
