There are so many impressive things this man does: self made iron tools, water wheel grinding and bellows (other videos), iron bow saw, water hammer, fish farm, concrete buildings, pottery... To me the most impressive tools he made are the various woven bamboo baskets. He's been using them for years now and most of them still appear intact.

2:34:00 Fish farm. Bamboo fish traps and temporary storage ponds were to jump-start a fish farm. You didn't need narration, subtitles, or captions to show it. You showed a bunch of fat fishes, some plant matter with small granules, and then those same fishes that (mysteriously) became "not fat" anymore. Those "granules" were not from plants, weren't they? You showed how you are building a fish farm. This channel is a million steps ahead of "teach how to fish than give a fish" because this Gigachad is on the "teach how to grow the fish you can fish later on" level. Absolute legend.

But I do have a suggestion... why don't you make a big gear on the water wheel output shaft and then connect to another smaller gear or several other gears and connect it to the grindstone. It would spin faster in doing so, and then you could hook multiple things like the blower as well without having to disconnect and re connect anything

Just finished watching your recent video. Wanted to commend your skill, hardwork and patience. FWIW, before retiring I operated a steam drop forge hammer. One of our last steps before running our first heat was to heat the dies. This kept the forging from sticking in the die but also to fill the impression. You might want to try heating your die (rock) before forging so you can get a little more forging time with your piece before it starts to cool off.. Just a suggestion. Pls keep up your fine videos!

The water wheel does not have the torque for that
@@gerritslurink2852 idk I think if he concentrated the stream of water better, it'd be able to out put enough torque to handle it.
