Don’t worry about the channel dude we’ll be waiting. Family comes first. Also I find it hilarious how you’re instantly in quiet voice baby sleeping style in the last two videos, takes me back.
So happy for your growth...on the channel. You are EXACTLY the type of reader that I've been looking for. We don't always read the same things, but you have been someone that has encouraged me to read different series, and reminded me to read things that I had wanted to read, but didn't Thank you. Looking forward to your SPFBO (or whatever) books that you've been assigned and your initial thoughts, and hopefully final thoughts. This should be a LOT of fun. Great stats...and it shows (to me, at least) that you are able to engage enough with your viewers, but just having difficulty of acquiring the requisite subscribers for the 1,000 subscriber baseline to monetize the channel. Really hope that this happens sooner, than later. Talk to you, soon.
Thanks Graff (and Marie)! While the channel is growing slower, I expect it to increase as we go through the year. Especially with some of the stuff I have planned. Thanks for watching as always!
Again: Congratulations to you and your Family! 🥳 Of course that should come first, no worries at all! Just finished “A Wise Man’s Fear” (Kingkiller Chronicle #2) by Patrick Rothfuss: The Man’s prose is amazing, so even though I am sad the third book is so delayed and I doubt I ever will consider Kvothe to be a favorite character of mine (a matter of taste rather than quality, make no mistake), I by no means regret reading the books! Also finished the Jack Vance’s “Lyonesse” Trilogy (Arthurian Fantasy), “Ash: A Secret History” by Mary Gentle (Alt-History/Fantasy inspired by the Mercenary Wars of Late Medieval & Renaissance Europe) and the “Sun Eater” Novellas & Short Stories by Christopher Ruocchio up to “Demon In White”. I will be taking a breather the coming days before starting on the “Memory, Sorrow & Thorn” Trilogy by Tad Williams over the Summer, with Edgar Rice Burroughs’ “A Princess of Mars”: I received a library copy from 1920, the British 4th Edition, 104 years old! Cheers!
I love the Sun Eater short stories and novellas I've read so far. Queen Amid Ashes was the weakest, but mostly due to predictability, which I've not found any of the other books to be.
I'm so glad you were able to finish Annihilation. I devoured all 3 books and am looking forward to Absolution in the fall. It's just such a surreal series in which the Southern Reach remains as mysterious to us as it does to the people studying it. I'm almost done with Empire of Silence and am really enjoying it.
The Sun Eater books have gotten better as they go for me. I would like to have had more made of the mystery and lore stuff from book 2 in EoS - you'll know what I mean when you get there!
@@SamHarrison2099 I've got Howling Dark on my bookshelf and queued up for July. I love the idea of these long series where we follow a likable character for like, 1000 years.

I think for both of these videos I was being as quiet as possible to not disturb my wife rather than the baby!
Let the legend get her sleep.
Congratulations on your new bundle of joy.🥳 Great wrap up.😊
Thank you!! 😊

Massive congratulations on growing your family Sam.
Thanks Tim! Now will I have more time to read or much much less...
Yes Sam! The will of the many! The audio is especially good
It is quite good so far!
