Remember, it was the Poles who stepped up in World War 2. They were brilliant pilots. They were invisible undercover operatives. The best of the best.
Poles fight in every front even after pact Alliance with CCCP Poles were let free and they separate on two groups one went to Africa to fight in Italy(like conquering Monte Casino) or Maczek armored Division who liberated Many French, Netherland and other cities even in Narvik in Norway. Second group stay in Russia and started created 1 Kościuszko army group who with Soviets fight on eastern fronts. So Pilots from 303 are just small part and most recognized but we remember all of our people who lost their life for Our and Your freedom.

Our politicians (both gov and opposition) jump down each other's throats over worldview bullshit and cancel the progress of the previous leading party each election, regardless of the faction. I live in a small town called Whitchurch in north Shropshire in England and during the second world war there was a small aerodrome 2 miles down the road in Higher Heath and quite a few Polish airmen flew from there. They came to help for freedom and sadly 80 years on they are doing the same. Very strong nation who we should all respect greatly.

We saved Europe from the Turks, e.g. Vienna 1683, from the Bolshevik invasion of Europe in 1920.We were the first to oppose Nazi Germany, although we were also attacked by the USSR and Slovakia. In the end, we were the first to overthrow communism and our example gave strength to other nations to free themselves from the dictatorship of communism.

Im from Latvia, i know we are small, and our numbers are not great, but if shit hits the fan in either of our countries i hope we will fight shoulder to shoulder, cause our potential enemy is the same..
Latvia and other Baltic countries dont get enough credit for what are they doing to help Ukraine. Everybody talks about Poland, overlooking smaller, but dedicated and great countries who actually have the border with Russia.

So i have to donate as much as i can, and i have give political power to those who is willing to support Ukraine.
Only reason im not going there, because ill be honest, its scary as fuck. And the fact im scared to go there, i feel more obligation to support those that can overcome such fear.
We must continue to stand together and stay united. It is quite evident that after Moldova, the Baltic countries are next on Putin's list. These are sovereign nations that do not belong to Russia.

I just got done reading Professor Timothy Snyder’s Bloodlands. There’s whole chapters in there about Poland.
The history of Poland is shocking! They have to be some of the most heroic people on the planet Earth.
Extremely difficult book to read. I felt more a witness to history then reader.
I’m not Polish but I am definitely a big supporter of the Polish peoples knowing what happened there in the last 100 years.
They have an extremely resilient culture and sense of identity. Unfortunately geography and geopolitics have not been kind to them in History. The NATO Alliance is critical to Poland's survival. If Poland wasn't in NATO like Ukraine, you can bet Russia would have tried to exert its influence on them, treating them like a historical imperial holding from the past.
Just started reading Bloodlands. Just fished The Gates of Europe". That region has always been a battle ground. The locals always pay the price.
They are White people proud of their culture but evil liberals have been trying to destroy them.
