Very pretty card! I adore that tree and the little fairies! I've been watching a show on Netflix called the Menendez brothers and they just released the documentary of the same name. I love watching British crime dramas as well. I hope you have a fab weekend!
@@CarrieKirbyCreates No. The Menendez brothers shot and killed both of their parents. It is a true crime and they are currently serving life sentences. The show is based on the true story and then the documentary is them speaking from prison. It was a big news story in the late 1980's.

Lovely card, and not complicated. Thank you! I think I noticed you using separate brushes for the blue distressed oxide and the blue dye ink. Is that important? Blue is blue, or do the two types not mix well on the same brush? Thanks.
Hi Rosemary and thank you for watching. No, you most certainly can use the same brush. Just start with the lighter shade first and gradually get darker. I just happen to have some brushes with different shades. It saves having to wash them after each use. Lazy I guess ha ha but I do tend to use them a lot. Thanks so much for watching. Hi Carrie, enjoyed watching you make the card. My preference is documentaries. I’ve been watching a programme similar to the Mendendez brothers but about Evil twins. I can’t remember which channel it’s on so I looked at my TV guide and the noticed that the programme about those brothers is on next week here. Do you have Sky? The twin one will be on there somewhere, as most things I watch are on Crime and Investigation. xxx

Could you get the same effect by coloring the background first and then stamping the tree.
Yes you could give that a try. It wouldn't be exactly the same but i am sure still very beautiful. Thanks for watching.
