Hi Iona, when I heard you say that the 7th green was “about 80 yds in length,” I was like, “Whooooooaaaaa, that’s huge!” (As you know, that would be in the realm of some of St Andrews’ Old Course’s double green’s lengths/widths.) Out of curiosity, I measured it in Google Earth, and though it might not be incredibly accurate, it is probably reasonably so. The 7th at Portrush is more like 34 yds in length, (c.90yds perimeter, and c.4,900 sq ft. area). Beautiful green! I love your videos, and especially enjoyed watching your glorious round at Crail with Shiels on his channel!
