I have been sewing for 30 years, and do have a sewing business, but most of what I do is repairs, hems, etc, or keeping our girls (and church youth group girls) in culottes. I do, however; enjoy it when I get to do projects that are more detailed like this purse. I look forward to more of your videos as they are very well done and a pleasure to watch.

I actually came onto You Tube looking for a tutorial for the Swoon Donna bag which I have just purchased the pattern for. I find video instruction much more helpful than written instruction. DId you use a rotary cutter cause all of your pieces look the same and there's no bunching, I use scissors and it's a sometimes hard to make the pieces fit cause some are a bit bigger than I would like. Love the fabric and bag.

Step 9: This takes some pushing and smooching? Try World War 3 with that second side. OMFG, it was hell on a normal sewing machine. Could also be the fabric i used.Anyway, i'm so glad that i picked the big version of this bag, because i would never have been able to do step 9 on a normal sewing machine if it was the small bag.
