I've been in Volvos since the classic 240 in 1978. Since then, I've owned the 740, 760 and two of the 2012 S60's. Every one of those cars was over 350k miles. I'm now in a 2020 S60 with just 3k miles and I'm thrilled. The technology in just 8 years is amazing. I'm a Volvoer for life.

BMW and Mercedes are more innovative, their cars are lighter, about 100 to 150kg, has better usability, use less fuel, are more comfortable over bumpers an costs equal, their security functions are useable at high speed. Do you know, Pilot Assist only functions until 130km/h with a trick until 139 km/h. Acitve high beam only until 110km/h, that is technic from yesterday. Why Volvo? Beautiful car. You are right. I know it, because i drove Mercedes an drive an S90.
Matthias Müller I think your wrong on the fuel. I also think your wrong about the active high beam. I know your wrong about the pilot assist. I have an Xc90 and I love the design but in technology is far behind when it comes to Audi , BMW and Mercedes . I hat the fact that we have to push the button to start commands. I also am not comfortable with the pilot assist as my Volvo must be blind or wears glasses because it doesn’t stay in its lane a lot of times. It’s scary. Works great when needs to stop if cars are breaking in head of me. The breaks and the rotors are very bad. My lease is up In 5 months and I think I’ll be going to either Audi or BMW. I honestly think Audi and BMW are so far ahead of everyone else. I must say that Volvo nailed the exterior designs with the lights and the evenly smooth body style but the interior is just not that good. The senus system freezes and the back up camera has a delay.
Love the contouring . The rims on the r-design are striking and the body lines exude a bold sexiness! The refined t6 awd variant boasts a potent , yet responsively fast engine ! I love Scandinavian Luxury!!! INTUITIVE and simply opulent !

M-Galaxy Volvo and Saab were cars for yuppies. Specially Saab at least now Volvo is making cars for everyone and BMW and Merc are finally getting some serious competition.
I use to have a 2017 S60 t5 inscription then moved to the 2017 S90 t6 inscription do to space with this coming I love to go back to the new S60 because I'm not a fan of the 2018 s90 due to I hardly be using all that room in the back. Lol I'm excited. I would stay s90 if could have the 2017 short version
Although the s60 is my 2nd favourite car, the first being the xc40 , the fact the it became longer kind of bumped me out, but as expected, the T8 engine does deliver 400hp, so It compensated. If they implemented the dragonfly into it, or made a version that is smaller because of the dragonfly, it would be awesome.
After going to the dealership, the interior is the reason I have not bought this car. Volvo, contact me if you want to know how it should be redesigned. 1st Gen S60 is the all-around best looking Volvo you've ever made.
Love it! The design is handsome and elegant. The panoramic sunroof is attractive, too. I've had many European cars, and in my opinion, Volvo has the most comfortable seats. But a unique launch color in limited quantities would have been nice. No bright silver color on the website configurator (disappointed), and too many shades of gray that are very similar (birch, pine, pebble, osmium) and a denim blue that looks gray, too. Thankfully, there's black stone and crystal white metallic.
I bought a gray one (it's kind of a copper tone gray) but it was a 2020 with only 3k miles, formerly owned by an old lady who kept it in a garage and only drover to the grocery store and church. It has never been driven over 45 mph.
Volvo u done a great job, but still u need to work on the side as well as the backlight of this car. The rear window profile doesn't go well with the overall looks. You need to strectch it a little bit with a curve and also the backlight has to be more sleek and in a single strip of line. Hope u consider this in your future models.
i always loved Volvos but in this model something made me confused. the T6 engine without plugin hybrid electric motor makes 316 hp but the T8 engine alone make 313hp ? i don't get it the t8 is already gonna be heavier plus the weight of hybrid batteries and motor is gonna be added so the power to weight ratio will be almost the same in both models. why not get 50 hp more from the t8 engine plus the hp from hybrid system so the performance difference with be noticeable.
