And, I have to say, the word risk is not regarding "art". It's regarding a market or a job where you invest and sell. If you wanna make money from art you will suit some risk, but it's the MARKET, not Art at all
While in my teens I lived with my aunt, uncle and cousins way out in Alabama (I'm Florida). Not much in the way of radio (AM only) out that way in those days. The one channel I could pick up played ALL music, an excellent rotation of rock, jazz, blues, funk, R&B, they covered all the bases. An interesting introduction to music I probably would not have listened to otherwise. This was late 60's, early 70's so you know it was all good, I just had to figure it out myself.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Warszawy, z Polski ❤❤❤❤
I think about this all the time. Like growing up I heard Roxette’s Joyride all the time on the radio, and on all the best of lists of that era you’ll never find it. It’s even worse for other musicians who might have had flash in the pan or actually long regional/local careers that never hit the major airwaves and are lost…I’m so grateful this poster put this up, because there’s a lot to enjoy here
Огромная благодарность за доставленное удовольствие. Такая музыка опьяняет и создает атмосферу высшего блаженства и любви к миру несмотря на трудности и невзгоды. От такой чудесной музыки ещё больше хочется жить несмотря на большой возраст🙏
Love this compilation! My older brother probably knows some of these but they're all new to me (68yo). I had no idea there were so many raw bands in the 60s. Thanks so much for opening my eyes to a genre/epoch I never knew existed!
It seems like Jimi Hendrix found some inspiration in Les Goths - Turn Over for his song Fire, and somewhere in this song he says: "Turn Over Rover" and the rythmic pattern is very much alike.
Fire by the Jimi Hendrix Experience Recorded: January 11 & February 8, 1967 Studio: De Lane Lea & Olympic, London (wikipedia) French psychedelic group Les Goths and their super-trippy song "Turn Over" from 1968 on Odeon Records (005-10268). Members: Gino Frascone (guitar, vocals), Bruno Frascone (drums) and Bernard Faucher (bass, vocals). Later members include: Yves Jouniaux and Philippe Sauteur (drums). Formed 1967 in Gisors, Normandie, France (info lifted from @rocknrollwerewolf's channel)
This playlist goes through a few genres even proto-punk.The recording of these tracks feels more human than whatever is on tik tok. It reminds me of camping in rural Ozarks with friends where there were only a few stations that came in. Talk radio, news stations, and a 60s music station that played music like this.
Lots of 60 treasures fo-sho! The garage sound, skaw, surf guitar, techno and some peeps like zigStardust,TheEnglish Beat, The cult,The Cure, The Pixies, The B52s, Talking Heads, Adamant, DuranDuran, Inxs,BillyIdol, are a few. This is a great album. I definitely dig it❤ .
60s was a great time for Innovation experimentation taking a risk musically and just diving in
Absolutely! Beautifully said!
And drugs.
Big arts
What risk...? In art? No risk there. In art you are always making choices, every instant, so in this point it's a continuous risk
And, I have to say, the word risk is not regarding "art". It's regarding a market or a job where you invest and sell.
If you wanna make money from art you will suit some risk, but it's the MARKET, not Art at all
I came here by accident and might i say one of my best accidents🎉🎉🎉
Me too!
Same ❤
Ditto! I saw the years of the bands. Holy cow!
You can thank AI for “your accident” ;)
Same here
Late 60s and early 70s - the best music ever, real treasures.
If only this was authentic and not AI music.

@@srdjanjanic Yes I am. But now I'm intrigued, what exactly makes you feel otherwise?
The 60s had it all funk/soul, garage, surf, r/b, folk you name it..

I guess everyone feels this way about their early childhood, but the sixties were a magical time. Especially the music. And the social activism. ✌️

Listening to this driving around Cornwall on my holidays the music was made just for that beautiful
...Accidentally clicked this on; 3 words: I LIKE IT!

"I Want to be Loved" by The Catsanovas at 8:51 sure sounds like The Kinks' "All Day and All of the Night".

Ich bin erst vor Kurzem in dieses Genre eingetaucht. Ich liebe es. Danke für diese Selektion.
I keep looking for new inspiration and I might have found it. As much as I love the music I grew up with, it's limited and I need more.
First track is like post-punk before punk even existed
I cant hear post-punk here. Just pure pre-punk :)
Instant vibe
Отличная работа! Заценю следом и рок-подборки. Спасибо за старания!
Подборка 🔥 🔥🔥
"Turn Over" by Les Goths at 31:40 TOTALLY reminds me of "Fire" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
It just feels like I woke up in the toilets room scene from Las Vegas Parano ; love it !

Yes, very similar ! But, couldn't it be the other way around, that is, that Les Goths took inspiration from hendrix
@@tonixjesse9087 Yes of course. You're probably right. If we look at the time it was made we can be sure about it.
