I was there in the crowd watching live on the front row, the crowd was absolutely electric, it's not a huge arena but the people were all so hype and it was an absolute banger of a series, map 3 had me jumping out of my seat

@@robmoore1995 absolutely, the very next game was DRX and it's Korea, but the lobby was completely full of people waiting in line for the fan signing, I ended up missing the entire first map of DRX vs FS waiting in line but so worth it, I got my keyboard signed by everyone on the team

@@orixxonwdym? Valo players are often picked by teams for roles they need filled right? And pancada came to sen to play smokes, so why not have him on smokes over tenz? Now if you argue the reason is that pancada is still sick or zellsis and tenz should swap roles instead of benching tenz bc of promotion and fans being angry if tenz doesnt play, then those are fair arguments but have nothing to do with the actual valorant side of things but are about external reasons. No matter the reason, it would be better to take tenz off smokes unless he has been practicing the role. Now I cant comment on mindfreak since I dont keep up with prx as much.
@@zaygun6019ngl pancada has likely not been practicing as much with the team. I also believe it has a lot more to do with zellsis having better synergy and comms with the team than pancada

As flexible as Zellsis is, I think if there's a flash initiator role to be filled, TenZ should be on it. TenZ has a serviceable enough Omen but Zellsis's Breach is just not comparable to TenZ's. Even then, you have a world class Omen in Pancada instead.

When you think about it… it actually makes so much sense for Zellsis to play initiator and Tenz to play smokes. Zellsis is already calling so much for the team that having him call his own initiator util instead of calling Tenz’s mid round could save precious milliseconds and decide rounds. Tenz on smokes makes sense because he’s so strong mechanically that having him play his life and get value out of controller util will put him in more clutch “last player alive” scenarios which he seems to thrive in.
Was fun to watch. Tenz looked a bit shaky on omen but he brought it back in map 3 and we also have to remember that this is his first time playing the role outside of scrims. All of this is just great practice for the VCT season

Loved to see it. Him on smokes with enough off-season matches can be deadly next VCT. His winning interview he compared Omen to Jett. He was using his TPs a lot, which is awesome.

@@TheFetus132 yeah a lot of people were criticizing his omen but they have to remember that he’s only been using him for so long now and it still takes time to improve. I do like though that omen allows him to still make aggressive at times

map 2 was where we saw the actual prx, and we saw sen struggle against them. Map 1 I would say was really experimental, considering how something was on yoru, and mindfreak on sova HAHAHAHA i never expected such an agent lineup. i can see how they're trying to slowly incorporate monyet's addition to the team with his playstyle and all. because if u think about it, Something, Jinggg, and forsaken is the trio of W gaming

Zellsis is just a vibe.. He brings the team up a lot. He's really a player that they need. I think he's more consistent than pANcada as well. You can tell Johnqt is the perfect player to IGL and try to bring SEN a trophy.. Its not been long and they're improvement is insane.. A few kinks need to be worked on.. Other than that. They look really good. Hope they continue to progress. Ppl are going to hate no matter what Tenz does. But, they don't realize that he is getting reps in on smokes to better his "Flex role" for the upcoming season..

no yea he just casually swings 3 and kills all three then swings around and kills 4. Just casually you know, nother day another 4k
2021 was the year of figuring out the game's landscape. 2022 was the year that minor regions like DRX, PRX, and Loud showed that unlike other E-Sports, Valorant was more balanced region-wise and therefore, more competitive. 2023 was the year of FNC, and unlike the year before that the west was caught off-guard by the eastern teams, this time the west was prepared and it showed when PRX struggled. However, despite their lackluster start to the year (compared to their 2022 explosive start), they slowly went back up the ranks and became the favorites to win it all. This year though, without Jinggg, I think that is going to be a bigger adjustment than when they removed their IGL (Benkai), which means I think that it will take them a bit more time to adjust so I don't expect the steady growth they had last season, I expect them to have a roller-coaster type of highs and lows. However, I am willing to be surprised and proved wrong especially because these teams, whether it be west or east, usually find their footing at the first actual domestic tournament, like when PRX struggled at Lock/In but won Pacific after.
On a steady note, congratulations to SEN and please, just please, I hope these wins aren't flukes. Keep on improving and be better next year.
Hey there, I was actually watching the FNS watch party, they were legit playing “perfect valorant” while on their haven comeback. These guys felt comfortable and legit. They also feel really comfortable on their breeze comps too.

This version of SEN w/ Zellsis and JohnQT has dynasty potential. You can tell they WANT to win now. Especially Sacy and Zekken, they're way more energetic and aggressive this offseason compared to VCT last season. Got high hopes for this SEN roster for once
