Becky, I love everything you create! You make it look so easy. I find myself over complicating things when I sketch. I feel like since watching you sketch, I am less afraid of making mistakes. I no longer reach for a pencil with an eraser to sketch. Instead, I go straight for the waterproof ink pen, reminding myself nothing is going to look perfect and we don't want it to. You are such a talented artist. Thank you for sharing with us.

This has def motivated me more to start my own illustration journal esp with water colour because it’s gorgeous! By any chance, would be comfortable sharing the specific name of the sketchbook you’re using in this vid? I’m still indecisive about what size I want to start out with but I would appreciate a bigger space for mine like the book you used here!

Thank you! That was a Moleskine watercolor Album A4 size. I use Mungyo watercolors 12 half-pans.
Lovely. How do you seal the work? Do you coat it with anything?
Thanks. no I don't coat it with anything. Just make sure the books are stored in a dry and safe place.

Therapy
This is probably a really silly question but when sketching your meals when do you eat them? Do you complete the whole sketch first?
Yes I complete the sketch first, it takes me just 5-10 minutes to draw and paint. :) When food is burning hot, I sketch it first then eat.
@@BeckyCao thanks I think I’m still too slow at drawing to do that, more practice is definitely needed to up my speed but still produce something recognisable
