at the end of this show the two of them just find a baby and adopt it, made me lose my shit laughing. like they don't even question it, they just find some random baby strapped to a dog and decide they are now dads. iconic, love it, 11/10

Nope, the dog owner (I forgot her name) takes the kid. But in the novel, if I remember correctly, she returns the kid or something. But yeah, I don't think they became adoptive teen parents in the end. They separate ways.

made me think of a sci fi book I read where one of the main characters was a mushroom like organism that took the identiy of a boy that died and at one point the mushroom boy dies to save everyone and comes back to life.
