Synopsis
Two sewers and a carder (a mattress maker) work on making mattresses
0:20 - Then they take a break to eat.
0:26 - A man who is apparently drunk approaches, gets agitated and rolls into the heap of stuffing.
1:09 - Then the latter hides in a mattress envelope that was meant to be sewn.
1:15 - The three workers come back and sew the mattress, which jams the drunk man inside without them knowing it.
1:45 - Then one of the workers put a big needle in the part where the man is asleep, and the man stands up and moves about, still shut up in the mattress.
This frightens the other three workers.
2:00 - Passers-by also run away.
