I knew I had a baker’s cyst before knee replacement. About two months before my surgery, I walked into a wooden crate and almost immediately had unexplained pain. Only my foot and lower leg hit the crate, not even that hard. I was in pain for about three-four days and used a cane to get around. During those days I tried to stay off my feet. I have long thought that my cyst had ruptured, always hearing how painful it is for them to burst. Guess I’ll never know…

Thanks Hamdi. Not too bad... It is starting to get pretty painful. On the morphine now though 😴!!
    You ok?

What do I do if it is causing pain and/or ROM issues. Can I get it removed

Well it is extremely obvious it's there to me, swollen, reduced rom, burning and increased burning with bending knee or pressure. Discouraging a TKR won't help. Ridiculous to live with this when they can replace the knee but won't drain or remove a cyst!

Did you ever get this figured out? I just had a knee replacment and my bakers cyst is worse then ever and very painful.
