The way I see it. Memory-Herta is right. March is a fallen Aeon.
The fact that Herta also has you, the MC, play the role of Akivili also makes me think THAT is also true. Evidence for this is that Akivili is the Trailblaze, the one who makes new paths, in lore so far, you're the only one able to prove that you can "fight against your fate"("We made a choice go fight against your fate!" being a lyric from Wildfire). There's also a theory that the cracks that appear before combat are because you're "shattering the memory glass" of what actually happened. The Garden of Recollection portal on the Express is a shattered mirror. I feel like the end of everything already happened, and through some shenanigans or other, time was given a new course starting with the rebirth of the Trailblazer(MC). I think March might be a remnant fallen Aeon from that previous doomsday timeline, who had her memories erased and was given a second chance. Also the path of Remembrance in Simulated Universe is the path involving Ice/Freezing, so it's kinda ironic that March CAN'T remember.
I personally think akivilli became nanook after being trapped somewhere and believing the only way to trailblaze forward is to destroy everything in his path
You weren't entirely wrong calling Elysia the Herrscher of Origin. She may be the Herrscher of Human [Ego], but her form she takes on when using her Ultimate, is called "Herrscher of Origin", I want to say more about Herrscher of Origin, but I'd be spoiling late parts of main story in HI3rd. What else I want to say is, there was a glitch that skipped the Herrscher transformation cutscene of the Herrscher of Origin in main story. By being super late to go through HI3rd's main story, you've avoided that glitch entirely, as it was patched out a long time ago. People who played that part when it first released did not get to see that cutscene play upon clearing the stage that it was tied to, because of that glitch in the game
btw, apologies if what I said digs deep into spoilers too much, I didn't mean to. I will not hold it against you if you want to delete my comment. I have a bad habit of accidentally spoiling things when I feel like over-explaining lore, as lore of games I play is my obsession

I just realized that March’s memory of Herta is based off of Herta always investigating Aeons, so that is probably why Herta says what she said.
Arlan follows the Path of Destruction and talks about one of March’s Stories based off of the Aeon of Destruction.
Idk about Asta, Asta is a researcher and calls the Bow as “evidence”, and goes off of a whole assumption about it, so March’s memory of Researchers are … over-ambitious theorizers that are often wrong?
Asta is the head researcher of a facility that specializes in examining artifacts of various origins. Her entire job is finding meaning and purpose for artifacts.

I'm sure we will get a 5* March and her origins will come to light some time next year. Might be tied to a new planet/location we head to so probably the planet we visit in 1.5/1.6

March is not an Aeon.
If she is supposed to be, she's either incomplete or otherwise de-ranked somehow and that shouldn't even be possible.
Memory-Herta may have been speaking nonsense, but she is right about one thing: once ascended, Aeons become "inundated by their Path" and have to follow their Primum Mobile. Their reason of being, basically. Destruction must destroy, Remembrance must remember, Preservation must... etc etc etc. They are defined by their existence as an Aeon and as an embodiment of the Path they represent. They are effectively chained to it.
Perhaps she was an Aeon once but her losing her memories somehow freed her from her Primum Mobile and the obsession to follow it, anything is possible if you have the writer's pen in hand, but everything we know about Aeons at the moment point toward it being impossible for her to be an Aeon.
Elysia is the Herrscher of origin she she calls her self the Herrscher of human because she is the first Herrscher ever to retain her humanity so that theory still holds

March is like Lan all her colours and bow is screaming it, plus when Lan using bow it arrows is made if something shining like (six fase ice).
Welt like Qlipoth protective and caring but in same time distant plus colours is same too.
Dang heng is difficult to match but maybe something like Oroboros same thing with repeating cycle.
And Himiko is one who clearly unable to match with any aeon, she have colours and joyful of Aha but personality close to Akivili and caring like Yaoshi or Xipe
I think that March is related to the elodon of beauty, they say it disappeared and divided into 7 crystals.
One thing that surprised me in this was the suggestion Fu Xuan is a follower of Nous. I thought all Xianzhou leadership followed the Hunt (cannonically, as opposed to game path).

Ok if we are going theories here, I just had one that popped up that has literally no evidence...but might make sense:
March is the daughter of Fuli and was sent into isolation. The Messenger was placed to ensure she couldn't remember anything about it and had a backup plan in case March had a way to dig into her memories (literally). It holds slightly as she was found in Ice without any personal belongings, as it was shown and stated the Bow was made by Himeko. Also being able to use the 6 phased she was similarly placed in seems...like something either "godly" or inherited perhaps?
Anyway that's my game theory.

Well, there's a chance of that actually since isn't teyvat part of Sea of quanta (human apparently can artificially create a world inside it) and dainsleif did talked about borrowing "the power from beyond" and stuff in the teyvat pv. there's a chance that griseo made teyvat but it's also highly unlikely since she draws stuff based off other people's uhh, personality/color? I don't remember.
