Hope you get the job you’re looking for! Some of my friends stopped riding because of the deaths of there best friends 2 of them stopped riding because they thought about how it would make everyone that cares about you feel and if you have a spouse or kids that would break there heart.ride safe 🐼
+Possessivevlogger appreciator it. Still haven’t heard anything back so who knows what will happen. Will definitely keep riding safe and defensive for as long as I continue. I am very fortunate to have not lost anyone close to me. I just know that day is always a possibility with riding and friend who ride.
Best wishes for your job search! I too have been overly contemplating whether I should hang up my riding gear permanently or not. Just too many idiots on the road.
+Rider Obvious people don't pay attention and it will probably only get worse. I am not ready to call it quits yet and assume it will probably be awhile still.
I have not rode in a few months, just thinking about all the people I know who has wrecked just this year, not including deaths by motorcycles, and it’s always been the other persons fault. I’m not planning on giving up motorcycles but my mind has been thinking here lately about how would it affect my family, friends, etc just incase something did happen.
+Mr.750 it is sad that there have been so many accidents and deaths all over. I don't want to hang it up but it is a thought that is increasingly on my mind.
Good luck on the job search. I know it can be very tough out here because it is so competitive. You dont really do any crazy riding to warrant stopping. All you have to worry about is other drivers. Just ride defensively. I think it will weigh on you the most when it is someone you know personally. Yeah people never pay attention -_-
There are only 3 reasons I can imagine why I would stop riding. 1. Can't afford the additional vehicle, insurance, etc. It's happened to me once before in my life. It sucked. 2. Physically unable to ride. Old age, an injury, or something that takes me off two wheels. 3. Lack of interest. I don't see that happen, but my interests are continually evolving. Some things I used to live for I don't care about anymore. I doubt biking will be one of them but you never know.
+The Masshole I genuinely did not consider losing interest as a possibility. I don't think that will happen but I guess it could. I used to love snow boarding and would look forward to winter. I haven't been in about 5-6 years and don't even miss it. I guess the same could happen with riding. Interesting.
No matter what you do in live there is a risk. Any time you get on the motorway no matter what you are using for transportation there is a risk you are basically putting your life in the hands of other commuters on the road.
This is definitely true. It is more dangerous to ride than to drive although both put you at risk. These days we are all at risk if we do anything it seems. I doubt I will ever stop riding as long as I am physically able to continue, but who knows what the future will hold.
+Wrex-Snipz101 what road is it on? I only know about timberline and on college. There is another one? I like Burger King but don't like the two I know about.

I wouldn’t lie that hanging it up has crossed my mind but if I’m not doing something I love, Am I really living?
+fz0Steve very true. I have wondered what I would do as a hobby if i ever do quit. I guess I could buy a house and do yard work like everyone else.
