I see what you're doing and it's cool but I've seen videos of guys recklessly driving too fast down country roads they've never driven before with no idea what's on the other side of that small climb. Creeks can rise and wash out a section of a road and I swear none of the passengers are wearing seat belts filming while trying to catch up to a tornado. If 3 guys have gone through a windshield it would probably only make it into the local newspaper, we wouldn't hear about it.
Yeah I cut it out, but had someone parked in the middle of the road on a blind hill. Was able to slow down and go around. I have also run into the flooded out road before. I invest in only the best tires for my vehicles for this reason
@@Oklahomachaser yep, tires are more important than people think. You know those little spare tires each car has to take you as far as a service station if you have a flat? Well my cousin drove her car for 3 months before I explained to her what they were. Had to take her to a service station to get them to tell her I wasn't making it up.
My god that first tornado... No precip, can see the whole structure, its out in the middle of no where and its not some ugly wedge but a gorgeous simple funnel... just WOOOOW!!! Thats the perfect capture. That IS the most photogenic tornado Ive seen. Thats the goal. That capture is.... I have no words. WELL DONE. ^____^
Ben has been chasing for years. He even chased El Reno I think, so duh he knows. And duh he knows where to position himself. Rule of thumb: dont criticize professional chasers unless you chase yourself.
That was a dumb day.. week really. I got kicked off a road because apparently it was private oilfield property. No idea how you can even tell the difference on the map. 14 years later after bowdle and I still cant figure out maps

Nice video of this years tornados
sounds like someone needs some cardio lol
You rolled up on that tornado like it owed you money. The 1 that crossed in front of you looked like a scene from ghostbusters or something.
Dude got way too close on that dirt road! Does he not know that the tornado extends far beyond the vortex funnel ? ?

Yeah I did get a bit close. Lost awareness above me, got fixated on the vortices. Thought I was eating it there for a second.
You guys did great really up close and personal!!! Nice video
I thought I was the only one on those janky oilfield roads in Midland with that view lol good season!
