How the hell is this series already at 208 and why have I watched every one... I feel like I've been watching this channel for only a year but it's been four already.

i found nagzz tru the vtuber discover-series and then this clips-series brought my attention to the entire vtuber rabbit hole, even tho I knew Hololive before, I didnt know that there are so much amazing vtubers to discover out there, man how time flies when ur having fun ^^
I thought he watches 2 a week so that would only be 104 weeks so 2 years. I could be wrong tho

2:05 - Related fun fact: When Rodney Dangerfield first started filming *_Caddyshack_* he was having a nervous breakdown because he's a comedian, not an actor. So, when he was making all of his very best jokes and no one around him was laughing at all and all his response was just dead silence, it was _really_ getting to him.
I don't remember which one of the other actors he talked to about it between takes, but they had to remind him that if _anyone_ in the cast or crew laughs, it ruins the take and they would have to do it over again - _and everyone on set was struggling to not lose it CONSTANTLY because he's absolutely hilarious._
No matter how good you are at what you do, when you don't have the natural environment you're used to, and ESPECIALLY when you're muted from getting feedback, it's a massive challenge to have any idea how things are really going until you can get used to it.
Related to Related fun fact: Most voice actors in the earliest days of radio came directly from the theater. They, too, were used to audience reactions and were so unnerved by the silence that producers developed the laugh track, which (for better or worse) remained a staple in broadcast radio & TV for decades! 📺

To add: the infamous audience direction lights were because often by the take that gets to air, the audience had likely heard the punchline 4 -5 times already and had to be reminded that it was still supposed to be funny.
And unlike British comedies, American comedies of that era usually didn't fill the gaps with adlibs because the production schedule was so tight.

Oh, the Poko clip. She had a really cute moment at offkai during a panel when she said that she would like even seeing non viewers go to her unofficial meet and greet at the Idol booth because she loves meeting new people. Really cute girl.
According to Lia and Pippa, Tenma along with all the other girls actually flew to be at Offkai itself. They were actually at the hotel during Offkai. Tenma was the one making sure the girls had their shit together, actually made everyone breakfast one of the days etc.

About the bidet part: The bidets in Japan are adjustable, depending on how expensive they are, even the cheap ones you can usually adjust the water temperature and pressure. The mid range one I have, I can adjust the temperature, pressure, position of the nozzle, and have it shoot a concentrated stream, or more of a spray.
Also, fun fact: If you're a guy, don't say your using a bidet in Japan. What they call the 'bidet' function is the, uh, front spray for women. The unit as a whole is called a washlet. If a guy says he used the bidet, you will get laughed at. Source: me. I was trying to talk about it as an example during a lesson when I was at a language school here.
