It doesnt have to be "a open marriage" in order for her let it go.. Its actually pretty normal for a man to cheat if is commited since he was 23 years old and has the money and the options to. No woman with common scense would break her marriage because of that. After so many years together you accept that person not as a sexual object, but more as a family member and what you have is way beyond those superficial sexual things. Although in this case it's obviously not just a sexual cheating but something much more in which case I would divorce if I were Wendy or at least consider it.
