  • SINGAPORE FOOD VLOG!
    We knew Singapore had a reputation for good food, and wow - it did not disappoint! We were a bit worried that it would be hard to find plant based options, but we had no trouble at all and ate so much delicious food during our week here.
    The places we've filmed:
    Afterglow (Chinatown) - www.afterglow.sg/
    Komala Vilas (Little India) - komalavilas.com.sg/
    Liao Fan Hawker Chan (Chinatown) - www.liaofanhawkerchan.com/loc...
    Long Bar at Raffles Hotel - www.raffles.com/singapore/din...
    Lau Pa Sat (Hawker Centre) - laupasat.sg/
    Genesis Vegan Restaurant - / genesisvegan
    Love Handle (Chinatown) - lovehandle.sg/
    Maxwell Food Centre (Hawker Centre) - no website but you can find it on google maps!

    Haven't tried it myself but heard rave reviews for VeganBurg in Eunos. Even meat eater TH-cam like Mark Weins likes their food. Can give them a try if you're still in Singapore.

    Sooo interesting that you can find vegan so easily... I guess I just assumed that Singapore would be mainly meat or seafood based like Thailand.
    When you're talking about the cost, are you saying as NZD? What's your daily budget while there as I know you guys are on a budget?
    Also, go Gaia, go!!! What a wee trooper with trying foods, I guess that's always a fear with toddlers!

      @@goodforgaia Vegetarian? Try the Vegan Burg in Eunos!

  • @maocat6606
    @maocat6606 ปีที่แล้ว

    For those who r vegetarian, print the Chinese word n bring with u bcos d signboard will probably not say it in English. The English ones probably charge a lot more! If strictly vegan there r no cheap stalls since it is a new Western idea. There r also Indian vegetarian food which have onions, not allowed in Chinese vegetarian diet.

    • @goodforgaia
      @goodforgaia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Veganism definitely is not a new western idea, we had absolutely no problem with it while we were in Asia! Great tip about taking it written in Chinese though!
