Such a unique style. Every instrument doing there own thing but it somehow comes together. after nearly a decade wait i'm so glad I finally got to see these guys live on the tour with periphery.
Hey everyone, I'm not sure if you know this...but if you want old SikTh, you can go an listen to old SikTh. Stop stifling them with these ridiculously tired comments about wanting to hear old SikTh. Loving the new songs so far, can't wait to hear the whole album.
Vivid sounds pretty close to old Sikth. didn't like the song at first but I was listening to Such the Fool and suddenly I realized the song was amazing. While the vocalist change is saddening I kinda like the direction they are taking it and I think this new guy fits right in with the sound they're putting out. I like the style and the lyrical difference makes for a new aspect of entertaining. Oh look, there's another elevator. I don't think I'll ever ride another elevator without headbanging now.
So glad you guys came back to making music. Been a fan since 07' and saw you guys with Periphery. Such a breath of fresh air from all the bullshit around.
What a great song. a mixture of DOADD and Trees in style, it feels far more mature and as to the comments from people about the production being cleaner/more polished compared to the old stuff, it definitely is - but in no way is that a bad thing. Looking forward to the new album :)
I like what you said about making music for yourselves. Not only is that crucial (imo) for a bands chemistry and longevity, more often times than not, they're the bands that put out awesome shit. Mainstream pop music industry is full of artists who make an absolute killing from releasing garbage ass music because people are stupid and throw gobs of money at them for their crap music that alot of times they don't even write themselves. Unoriginal bastards. Sorry for the rant lol I just like what you said. 🤘🏻🧔🏼🤘🏻
It's nice to hear a band mature and not pander to an audience they shouldn't need to impress. Keep doing you, guys. This is a masterpiece just like everything else you've done.
Congrats on the new album guys! From top the bottom, you can tell the immense amount of hard work that went into this. Like any great track by you guys, each new listen opens up so many missed appreciation from the previous listen through. You never cease to amaze me and will forever be a fan. Mikee, your lyrics and poetry have never been more on point. Sharp and precise like a samurai's sword. Hoping to see you guys on your next tour of the US. PS, Orlando would love to see your faces.
this is really really growing on me already! Very excited for the new album and seriously hoping for some new SikTh chaos and legendary riffing!!! Top songwriting yet again!
I think this album will be a grower. I'm glad they are trying to reinvent themselves and experiment something new instead of repeating the same things (that everybody play pretty much because of them) over and over.
it will def be a grower, first time i heard death of a dead day i was just learning guitar, didnt think that you could even play music like that on a guitar lol, didn't get into their music until i understood music itself, and then i could listen to the music, same goes for BTBAM SIKTH is AMAZING as well as BTBAM
Not really. It was a little fast tempo, sure, but it was still gurgled singing verses and relatively tame. Don't get me wrong, this is all good, it's just more Philistine Philosophies than Hold My Finger. It's incredibly hard to put into words, but it's different XD
Let me put into words for you. Hold My Finger was batshit insane, inventive as hell, had tonnes of random time sigs and insanely good riffs. This is good, very good, and veyr good by SiKth is still better than 99% of anything else, but it's not in the same league as all-time greats like 'Such The Fool' and 'HMF' etc.
Tour with Entheos please. Also, I love the new songs, despite the more simple approach. What would you say was the biggest inspiration for taking things more simply compared to previous material?
Guys, why are you complaining? Part of the Friction was just as slow and built up as this. This still sounds on the exact same wavelength as DoaDD, just a little bit nicer.
Nope, its a band all to its own. Not a side project at all. The new singer is Joe from Aliases. He is a better singer than the old guy by a long shot. Just listen to the Aliases album "Derangeable" on here. Absolutely fantastic record!
Hmmm, might be a grower. I feel like the production on this new stuff is a bit too immaculate. The earlier stuff was a bit rougher around the edges and benefited from it. Also, this new stuff all seems structured kind of simply, and I was kind of hoping for more crazy riffs too. Ah well, I suppose we've only heard 3 songs from a 12 song record so far. Plenty of opportunities for craziness.
Chris Plumb Hey man! Now that the record is out whats your opinion on it? Personally I love it! Though I do know what you mean about the kind of "grit" they had on DOADD which was wicked. Had a chat with Dan man, he's a dude!
Hope they all get drunk or such and just surprise us all or it's nice have seen/hear you again, goodbye like the steps reunion. They were a different animal to most bands. An inspiration for some. I hear stone sour have another shit song, could be worse.
Yo capitalism is bad guys. People working hard to earn a profit, provide a service, create jobs and contribute to the economy and to reap the rewards of that hard work... How dare they! Seriously though, I'm glad you guys are back and I like that you are doing something new instead of repeating yourselves.
Joe is a fab vocalist and nails it for Aliases but I honestly don't think he suits Sikth next to Mikee. Album is still good but I dunno I think I'm just far too used to Justin.
Such a unique style. Every instrument doing there own thing but it somehow comes together. after nearly a decade wait i'm so glad I finally got to see these guys live on the tour with periphery.
man sikth is so good. One of the most underrated bands ever. Bet they around gonna be huge in 5 more years
fully agreed 👍 Sikth are that band which for me never gets old no matter how much I listen to them, well ahead of their time
So far ahead of their time the rest of the music industry is still catching up!
Doubtful now, Joe and Pin have left
They have one more year to prove you right, and I haven't heard anything from them unfortunately.
5 years later here. About the same to be fair
Honestly BTBAM and Sikth are absolutely unmatched. Wish there were more acts out there as interesting as they are.

People forget to grow themselves
Well, this song is really bad. But sikth is my goat.
@@BartCoz This song is great!
Took me years to appreciate this album properly. Their earlier work was that good.
I just heard this band for the first time. I have been surprised and delighted. Greetings from Ecuador lml
Wow amazing, sikth have a new dynamic to their sound; always pushing the boundaries. Brilliant !
This band is really nice! pretty original!
1:11 The new album name
criminally underrated
So glad you guys came back to making music. Been a fan since 07' and saw you guys with Periphery. Such a breath of fresh air from all the bullshit around.
The best concept metal band of the world!
Awesome feels in this one
Grew on me big time. Love it now
Super music
God bless you guys. This is amazing. Especially choruses. Just epic
Criminally underrated. This album is a masterpiece.
I love You guys.

This is refreshing guys. Still you. But another side. Good to see you're making music for yourselves

AMAZING!!!! Diversity is necessary for creativity and proud to keep playing.
It's nice to hear a band mature and not pander to an audience they shouldn't need to impress. Keep doing you, guys. This is a masterpiece just like everything else you've done.
awesome techmetal pioneers
That stood out. It takes a lot for something to grab my attention these days, so I am impressed.
The undisputed alpha monster of the underbelly of metal hell.

Simon Desmond Hey man! What do you think now that the album is out then? You dig it or more thinking old is better?
Absolutely stellar. Cannot wait to pick up the album!
Great song.
love this band
Love it!
I think this album will be a grower. I'm glad they are trying to reinvent themselves and experiment something new instead of repeating the same things (that everybody play pretty much because of them) over and over.

After listening to the whole record for some time, I definitely confirm my impression. Sikth has slayed it again!
I'm honestly really hyped for this album holy shit. I mean, just look at that album cover!
The diversity of your new material are welcome!
You are truly an inspiring pack of fellows.
All hail the Gruul! King of Something!
Fucking love this, and the whole album is top notch,Sikth, what a band👍👍👌
the lyrics says that @ 2:55 "what are you going for",but is sounds more like "what we're hoping for"
I sincerely thought thats what ears heard...Still good to know🤘
OMG
THIS IS SO AMAZING
It's quite refreshing to hear this. Let's hope that it will fit better when we listen to the whole album
and god bless the mean fiddler, what a dingy and amazing venue. saw stampin ground there on their last show
Nolly did an awesome job with this mix
Great. Every SikTh song needs time to get into.
Remember those days when I heard "Peep Show" and was completely unable to listen to their other songs. Ha-ha.
Same with shuggah or hjarta for example.
Some songs may seem too easy, but your perceptions are blurED.;)
Squint your eyes to see clearly, blur reality to make it real ©
\m/
God. Sounds so fresh!
I know what I'll be doing on 02/06/17. Listening to Sikth's new album like it is 06/06/06!!
Back once again for the Aaaaaasian Maaaaster Raaaaaace
what a track,killer !
I've never heard my fav sikth song live. That's a crime
This song is awesome live!
xopha Did you see it at Download dude?
Nah saw it at a small gig they did before download in my town, my mate saw them at download with all 3 vocalists, the lucky bastard!
new full length? sweet. it's on the calendar.
suggestion: tour with entheos.
kodiak wild oooooooo yes pls
Djent ballads. BRILLIANT!!
from thoughtless to bb, then need 4 speed, party with slenders now - jesse is really a multifaceted person
Who produced this? This is the best produced song I have heard in a while. An incredible production.
Nolly
Whoa, didn't know Aaron Paul was singing in Sikth now.
JESSEE
"YEAH VOCALS, BITCH!"
YEAH! DJENT BITCH!
isn't that Jake Pauls brother?
Man, Sikth are cool.
Yeah Mr White!
iamrichlol Science Bitch!
1:46-the end is probably the most addicting part of any song I've listened to
For me the "RIde the illusion" ending part is much more addictive.
Ayy anyone recognise the train track footage from the bambro koyo ganda video from Bonobo?
Ohmycosh stock footage
you guys can do no wrong
Aliases vocalist?
Hoping for more classic sikth bangers on the album, this is good, but man, i want some old school sikth debauchery!
Wasn't Vivid that?
Rares Macovei I guess so
Not really. It was a little fast tempo, sure, but it was still gurgled singing verses and relatively tame. Don't get me wrong, this is all good, it's just more Philistine Philosophies than Hold My Finger. It's incredibly hard to put into words, but it's different XD

This is good, very good, and veyr good by SiKth is still better than 99% of anything else, but it's not in the same league as all-time greats like 'Such The Fool' and 'HMF' etc.
It's desperately missing the batshit. The whole record so far has been missing the batshit. It's just technical and a lot more straightforward.
Tour with Entheos please. Also, I love the new songs, despite the more simple approach. What would you say was the biggest inspiration for taking things more simply compared to previous material?
Genius!
this has a very nu metal 90s production its a catchy "hook"song i dont listen to this band just checkin em out but im diggin this track
очень круто
Most talanted band in the neoteric metal
Wow this is amazing love it already and my first listen and who is that him from Aliases?
I thought that man. Deffo him!
Yep Joe Rosser from Aliases. Another amazing band I cant stop listening!!!!
good cleans
so clean..... wtf!?
cool song
Does anyone remember Mindless Self Indulgence? Listening to this reminded me of them.
Sikth... I just wanted you to know that you have a great fan in Monterrey MX, and not a new one, i follow you guys many years ago!
the lyrics/theme is so overused, but the song has a very unique combo of groove and ambience.good job overall
The guy is amaizing. sounds like Korn and Limp Bizkit
This sounds absolutely nothing like Korn or Limp Bizkit.
@@michaeldavis6914 maybe for u) but not for me $)
👌
hooks for mutha fuckin days!
First 3 notes remind me of the end of the verse riff from Paranoid :) is that an homage?
What do they think they are playing at.
🤘😈
Did anyone else think he said "The asian master race" in the chorus at first?
You ruined it! Now I can't unhear it!
Underrated comment.
you fucker
I hate you while subsequently loving you for that notice.
As an asian, i now love you
rack it up!
Guys, why are you complaining? Part of the Friction was just as slow and built up as this. This still sounds on the exact same wavelength as DoaDD, just a little bit nicer.
Is this a new vocalist? My instincts say, "yes". Either way, love the new stuff. :)
Andrew Rupp same vocalists. Aliases was a side project they did
Nope, its a band all to its own. Not a side project at all. The new singer is Joe from Aliases. He is a better singer than the old guy by a long shot. Just listen to the Aliases album "Derangeable" on here. Absolutely fantastic record!
Singer is Jesse Pinkman bro
This album is amazing!
underrated
Hmmm, might be a grower. I feel like the production on this new stuff is a bit too immaculate. The earlier stuff was a bit rougher around the edges and benefited from it. Also, this new stuff all seems structured kind of simply, and I was kind of hoping for more crazy riffs too. Ah well, I suppose we've only heard 3 songs from a 12 song record so far. Plenty of opportunities for craziness.
It was definitely a grower for me. I'm addicted to the 2:13 riff. Just missing some aggression, but I hope the rest of the album compensates that.
12? fucking 1 2 ? WWWWWWWRRRRR
That's actually why I love it. Production is top notch! Mixed by Nolly!
Chris Plumb Hey man! Now that the record is out whats your opinion on it? Personally I love it! Though I do know what you mean about the kind of "grit" they had on DOADD which was wicked. Had a chat with Dan man, he's a dude!

Evolution
I can see big Dan even with that white stocking
Catchy song, not what really what I was expecting when clicking on the link but very cool nonetheless !
dear... fuck... yesss
I hope there's some really crazy stuff on the new album. Everything I've heard so far has been so structured and sterile.
Yo capitalism is bad guys. People working hard to earn a profit, provide a service, create jobs and contribute to the economy and to reap the rewards of that hard work... How dare they!
Seriously though, I'm glad you guys are back and I like that you are doing something new instead of repeating yourselves.
If you don't vibe to this on Clone hero then you are doing something wrong
Fucking epic \m/
Now I know where twelve foot Ninja stole their sound
Groovy as fuck!
Don't think SikTh could write a bad song if the tried
Slenderman meeting.
Getting Chester Bennington and Buckethead vibes from the chorus. Naice!
Lel, wut?
To be fair, I can hear it too, lol.
Craigr Meister no kidding, spot on!
Joe is a fab vocalist and nails it for Aliases but I honestly don't think he suits Sikth next to Mikee. Album is still good but I dunno I think I'm just far too used to Justin.
Jesse 😏😏
Nice melodies but I wish you guys would lay off the heavy mastering compression.
what exactly is compression?
