When I was a new Christian believer in God and Jesus the Christ I had many questions about the Almighty and my faith. Over time with the gain of knowledge and the help of God I came to understand that the witnesses of the prophets and apostles self proves itself over time and history according to the old testament scriptures of the Jewish priests. All this becomes facts when researched and compared to science and historical discoveries. This leaves us either believing in faith or denying it from fear that it might disrupt our life and be true, choose carefully.
From infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work...For everything that was written in the past was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures, we might have hope...
This teaching is wicked and evil. He is attacking the Word of God. This is not what Jesus taught. Jesus taught that the Word of God cannot be broken. We know the identity of Jesus because of the 66 inspired, inerrant, and infallible books of the Bible.
I'm really sorry you feel that way, because I'm confident that is not his intention. I don't see it as an attack, rather providing evidence why we should believe these divinely inspired authors. God inspired all of the writers and had a hand in compiling those teachings into the single book we now have. The attacks of unbelievers argue that this is just a book of stories written long after Jesus was alive, which allows them to cast doubt into the accuracy. The longer time has passed between writing and events allows details to be forgotten and embellished. He is arguing that these writings were written timely and were accurate accounts to disprove that the Bible was thought of 400 years after Jesus lived by some empire that had no interest in Jesus. The key to winning people to Jesus these days requires winning their heads because so many so called Christians have damaged their hearts. Then we can work on their hearts.
You are wrong and obviously have no idea about how the bible was put together and how the books were originally written. They all had to be verified and judged to be worthy of being true to known history and the old scriptures (Old Testament). You need more study and pray for Godly guidance. Andy is explaining the scripture in a way that people can understand it in this day and age, he has a great gift in these trying times.
@@kurshing That the Bible was written by superstitious men, for one. No. The Bible was written by men inspired by God's Holy Spirit. All over the place, Jesus Himself said the Bible tells us so. Jesus said the foundation of our faith is God's Word that can never be broken. I could go on and on. Please take Jesus's view of God's Word, not this man's evil view. Follow Jesus.
@@josephrandall6.14 It was written by men (under the influence of the HS, granted), right? Were they superstitious...I don't know them, and I can't speak to their state of mind when they wrote this text, but I know they weren't writing 'the Bible' when they wrote what they wrote. Andy is trying to make the text approachable for non-Christian readers. If you can appreciate that, you might realize that he isn't challenging your position. He is simply trying to make it a text that readers can grasp. I love Jesus as well. I am convinced Andy does too.

What, in particular, did he say that isn't true?
