@@kennethschaidle5995 Thanks, Ken! 😊 I haven’t done much long stuff this summer so I think it’s all muscle memory at this point carrying me through hahaha.
Got'ta watch those false summits! Beautiful scenery. Loved the fox! I think that deer was stalking you. What an amazing hike! Thank you for sharing this!
@@AudreyAdventures It always a pleasure seeing you on trail. Living a nomadic life and exploring the world. I know we are not supposed to say someday because usually someday never comes. Someday I will be nomadic and explore the country doing what I love to do and when I am tired of that will settle down and give back to the hiker community in a way to make them happy just as the angels have made me happy on trails. 👣👣🌲🌲❤️
@@BRIANDRAUGHN-o8x Thank you, Brian! 😁 Don’t let me fool you though - I’m doing all of this while working a full time job and a side gig (dogsitting) and paying rent. I don’t have kids so that makes it easier than for a lot of people, of course, but just wanted to make the point that these shorter trips can absolutely fit into “normal” life! I just find ways to make (and save) extra money where I can to pay for my travels, and I have a lot of energy for the things I love. But I hope your someday does come to fruition, regardless of how you decide to pursue it! 😊
@@rehabme8501 Well… not really. But depends on who you ask: wildfoodgirl.com/2023/huckleberries-billberries-whortleberries-grouseberries/. Generally I think of them as whortleberries but in a general audience setting I generally think it’s easier to say blueberries. 😜 But thank you! Haha.
❤❤❤ We were just through there a couple of weeks ago on our way to Yellowstone to fly fish . Def want to get back out there when we have more time to explore. Adding this one to my list. .LOL! Hit Salt Lake City as well on that trup and now Uinta Highline is on my .list too! 😮😂😅😅😅
@@rdwoten Sounds like a great trip! What was your favorite part? Remind me where you guys are based? I don’t know much about the Uinta Highline - I’m gonna have to look into it! That’s in the desert, right?
We’re in west-central Iowa@@AudreyAdventures. We were out there on vacation. The UHT is in the mountains just across the Wyoming border NE of Salt Lake City. It’s about 2 hours NW of Dinosaur Nat’l Monument. It looks to be right up your alley. ;-). I think Craters Of The Moon in Idaho was probably our favorite part of the whole trip! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Congrats on your finish! I did 4 nights, 5 days on trail so got to spend a little more time in each area because the mileage gets split up. It’s a great trail!
@@ChristianPaulPhotography Thank you! 😁 Congrats on yours as well! I definitely would have loved to have a little more time in the backcountry, but alas, those pesky permits. Still really enjoyed it even at the faster pace though!
Absolutely stunning. Thanks!
@@dougsneider722 Thanks, Doug! 😄
18 miles in one day through rather steep terrain, pretty impressive in my opinion.

It's really an excellent hike along the pleasant mountain landscapes !! Greetings from India.

@@susietopspin Haha I would for sure recommend this one! And it’s short, so a bit easier to sneak away for. Happy Trails! 😊

Great video. Those were huckleberries I think, not blueberries. Anyway looks like a great hike.
