And I used to be so good at pinball when I was a kid.
As you can here, or not as the case maybe this has an issue with the sound effects, its loud enough as it is and when the sound chip does decide to function it is almost deafening at full volume.

You might want to check the wires to the speaker. Also if you cut thin bands from a small bicycle inner tube you can use them on the flippers like a real flipper and control the ball much better.
