Very tragic story. She loved him but couldn't be with him because he was married. But it also tells about the great values she had in terms of devotion that tragically ruined her. One cannot control feelings of love and she was perhaps too kind for this world. But also Danny had the backbone not to abandon his wife for a young, beautiful girl, something far easier to do today.
This is so sweet and much better constructed then "Love You Tender!" It's a very bittersweet song, knowing the tragic relationship the two had... Still, this video could have used a random hippy VJ cutaway...
I think that this song describes the "romantic" trend of the late 70's in Finland even better than "love you tender". So this shouldn't be a disappointment if you know the background.

The main thing is, that Armi was 17 years old and Ilkka (AKA Danny) was 35 when they met. Have you seen any couples of that age lately? I do not think so. Why there are no couples of that age? Because the younger one is immature and the older one is mature. There is a possibility, that the younger one is seduced by the older one.
