I’ve been to New Orleans quite a few times and I absolutely love the gumbo there so I was excited to try the gumbo at Tiana’s Palace. Let me tell you that gumbo did not taste like New Orleans, it was way too salty and a bit too spicy for me. I will go back there next time but plan on just trying their red beans and rice with probably the kid’s meal melted ham and cheese sandwich.

Growing up with a single Asian mom, it’s definitely refreshing to see your mom who’s super positive about everything she tries with you. Asian moms always be saying “not too sweet” or “not too salty” and your mom is such a treat!
I’ve mentioned this plenty of times before but my 4 year old daughter loves watching your videos every night instead of hearing a bedtime story 😂 but tonight, you got her super amped up and she can’t sleep because we JUST got back from Disneyland and you posted this video!! ❤ so she wanted to compare everything you ate and rode with what we did and if we didn’t eat that item or ride that ride, she kept asking why 🤦🏻♀️😂

the ride footage came out great on the new camera! i liked what i got at tiana's place when i went - i got the plant based option, the 7 greens gumbo, and also their cornbread. both were tasty! but i agree, the gumbo could've came with more rice :)
