Thank you for sharing your company's behind the scene production process. I got both the HR and custom dark for my tenor. They are really great mouthpieces and 100% worth the $$$. Keep up the great quality and consistency!

I have bought Super Jet Alto... Hands down the best mouthpiece I have ever played...Such a powerhouse, beautiful Palladium finish and such a joy to play. It's everything I was looking for in an alto mouthpiece.

Very nice presentation. After all I would not know anymore what would be the right Mouthpiece for me. So far I am using SELMER S80 C* on Alto, Tenor and Sopran. Of course always the appropriate one. Regards from Switzerland.

@@jodyjazzofficial By the way, I just bought a Jody Jazz DV 7 for Alto from a friend of mine who gave up playing. It still looks like brand new. It still has the blue protection sticker on it where the ligature (clamp) fits on to. I hope I will be capable to use it and play with it.

Yes. I have heard them played - excellent. How many get damaged on the last knockings of the hand finishing? I would be a nervous wreck!

What Jody Jazz mouthpiece should I get to replace my Meyer 7MM hard rubber jazz alto piece for lead alto and jazz combo work. After playing sax professionally now for 50 years, 23 years with USAF BANDS, I am comfortable with hard rubber and prefer to use only a hard rubber mouthpiece for traditional Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Phil Woods type timbre. I do not want Dave Sanborn, smooth jazz, rock and roll mouthpiece. I want the tone of Herb Geller, Bud Shank, Charlie Mariano, Art Pepper, or Richie Cole. New York style round chamber, roll over baffle, hollowed out side walls, perfectly flat table, and thin tip rail.

Hi jody! Do you have a tenor mouthpiece that has a really fat and dark sound, while being able to project over a very large band?

    • @toomuchtoofast4533

Hi, Take a kook at this tone comparison chart - jodyjazz.com/mouthpieces-comparison/tone-comparison-chart/ The darker you get the less projection that you get so I would recommend the mouthpieces in the middle which would be the HR*, Giant and DV CHI
