Growing up at the base of the Rocky Mountains I spent hours and hours in the forest and nearby lakes. The wind whispering through the pine boughs always made me catch my breath and stand still. It made me smile from the inside out and from head to toe. On many an occasion I would sit near a fire with the embers crackling and popping. Often with a mug cradled in my hands filled to brimming with cocoa or another warm beverage to chase the chill from my fingertips. In a world chaos laden these are the moments I hold in my mind when life becomes loud and less than peaceful. My thinking spot in the woods is always just a thought away. Just like this music now and the imagery of the fire that accompanies it. Is there really anything more magic? I think not.

I honestly think the reason sounds from nature sooth us, is that they are inside our hearts and souls all of the time, but get drowned out by the noise of the world. Thank you for allowing us to return home to our soul and natural state.😊💕
This is the song I would imagine playing in my mind when I'm finally able to let go of the chains that bind me to this world and I'm met with peace I've never known or could have ever imagined. Feeling ever ounce of fear hate jealousy pain sin and evil disappear from all of existence with nothing left but joy love peace happiness and rest. To finally be able to see the ones we lost in life, and to meet the ones we never got to meet in this life. To finally see the love of my life again and be by her side again for all of eternity like we promised we would..........its so hard to even begin to understand how big of an impact music has in helping people get through hard times, especially when they help bring your mind and spirit as close to your true home as you'll ever be able to in this life. I only hope that the pain we go through doesn't last much longer, and we're all able to finally go to where our hearts belong, our true homes.......
My husband is currently deployed overseas and I’ve played this every single night since the day he left. It eases my mind to just let the tears flow.. wishing he was holding me.. while I fall asleep in his arms.. with his warm breath on my shoulder. I miss him so much my heart hurts. Earlier this month (November 2020), I went camping with my dad for the 2020 Bushcraft Meet with Bushcraft USA. This reminds me of sitting around the campfire with people I hadn't known more than a day before. It was amazing to meet people with similar interests in the outdoors. It's hard to explain the sense of belonging and community I felt there, even though it was both mine and my dad's first time coming to such event. I feel truly blessed to have met them, to have spent time with them, to talk with them, and to bond with them, even if we were complete strangers. When I was a kid and living in the country, we use to have a camp fire and roast marshmallows. Then when I got older I worked at a state park in the campground in the evening and I would see and smell all the campfires too. That was the best job I ever had and didn't care the pay was the worse I had ever gotten.
We breathe more deeply, see more clearly, and hear more clearly when we are alone-in moments of prayer and music or simply in silence. We become more aware of our surroundings, and as a result, we return to the sacred.

The Campfire reminds me a lot of the home I used to live in. There was a fireplace there and I'd always get up close to it looking through the tiny gate that covered it. Hearing it crackle and the nice warm feeling would make me calm and relaxed. Also reminds me of the bonfires at parties or the beach with friends and family. Celebrating a birthday or just getting together for a feast and talk a little. Singing and laughing. Dancing around the fire and pointing a laser up in the sky. It was fun and calming back then. Hardly any drama

I have to be honest about my thoughts on this video and why I love it so much. I have a dear friend who camps out in the bush with his best mate. He has told me about the huge bon fires they have built and shared with other campers. They play the guitar and sing or just sit back and relax by the fire and strum along. THIS video reminds me of them and how peaceful Nature can be. SO, this is why I love it so much!! I wish it were at least 8 hours in length. 😊

To reflect on the past, to contemplate the future and know what it means to be strong, what it means to be happy, what it means to have an be a friend, these are just some of the things I am looking to answer. But it makes me think when I was in LA a few years ago, in a beach with an amazing sunset in front of us and talking with people from all over the world I didn't know but felt like we were friends since forever. On thanksgiving i went camping alone up in bruce peninsula national park here in ontario, canada. My first time camping solo, and probably 8th time camping this year. Went camping for the first time last year, I'm 25 now and love it. The cackling of the fire at night, the bright, endless glimmer of stars. Peace and beauty in its most natural state.
Why'd i go camping alone? Because i love it and I had no one to go with. I felt really damn insecure about going alone but ended up doing it because fuck it. I was scared, especially dealing with 40km/h winds by myself but it was worth it. Had a few strange looks from families and people camping as well around the sites, it was probably weird seeing someone alone, especially on a holiday like thanksgiving but oh well. Honestly i could sit around a bonfire/campfire all damn night. Love staring into the endless flames and embers of the wood. Its crazy how hot those wooden coals get and how easily it can ignite a brand new fresh log.
Honestly idk wtf im rambling on about, i guess my love for this shit? The tranquil guitar sounds from this video are just making it easy to write out my thoughts.

I had put this when I went to a resort with my family. There was campfire at night. It was a hilly area so the weather was cool and chill. There were tall trees all around since it was an estate. Food was being prepared. Sky was clear and it was a night full of stars. I played this music there for first time.. ❤️ got the peace that I was looking for 😌. Felt calm. Thank you! 🙂✨

Hi Peder! I usually don’t comment on TH-cam often but when I do, it’s a sign that I’ve stumbled upon a video of gold that is inspiring and soothing for me. I’m big into the whole nature relax video thing but I’m very particular on what I like. For me, it just has to sound right and your video definitely sounds right to me. I use it for a few different relaxing activities during the summer in the evenings. By far one of my favorite ones is reading in the fading light on a warm summer evening while sipping a cup of hot tea while I listen to this and it really clears my mind. It’s during this time I can effectively reflect on what I got accomplished for the day and puts me on track for a great new day in the morning. It’s also equally effective for the winter time when I’m tired of seeing snow and I’m ready for summer. Listening to this reminds me that spring and summer are on the way. it’s people like you that I’m grateful for finding on TH-cam making me a happy camper (haha get it?)🤪 thanks for this masterpiece and please create more:)

كانت السماء مضطربة قليلا هذا الصباح
سكبت كل مافيها من قطرات. وكانت الأعاصير والرياح تضرب بقوتها الأغصان لتضرب بدورها على نافذتي. لا أدري كيف استطعت استجماع شجاعتي ومغادرة سريري الصغير الدافئ ولكن ضميري الدراسي أيقظني وما عاد على النوم قدرة..
وفجأة وجدت نفسي أستمع إلى ألحان هادئة مع نكيص احتراق الحطب بفعل توهج النيران التي لا أعرف إن كان لهذا معنى، ولكن شعرت من خلالها بالدفئ رغم تجمد الحرارة..

Peder, I cant thank you enough for what you do. I battle with various mental health issues including chronic suicidal thoughts/ideations and self harming thoughts as well as actually self harming. About a month, 2 months ago I bought a bluetooth speaker. At night when I go to sleep, I hook it up to my phone and find a new track of yours I haven't listened to and play it to help me sleep. Listening to your music combined with other things I've been doing, I havent had suicidal thoughts etc for about 2 months now including no self harm. So thank you, big time, for been a part of my recovery and healing. I'm now 32 years young and since I was 3 weeks old, I've been camping with many campfires had so this will take me back to my childhood :) thank you :)

I still have suicidal thoughts- they came back but I haven't made an attempt in close to 3 years. I still play relaxing music at night but now have 2 good quality speakers I hook up and play soft music :) 3.5 months self harm free now, every now and again have relapses but I know I can make it years

@@user-ck1no1mk4y yes and no. Everything comes in waves. Main downer now is missing an incredibly awesome person, a lot. Due to COVID I haven't see them since March/April. I do have an ever growing support network as well which helps :)
I listen to this when I am sad .. nothing turns out good , and life is hard .. but this calms me. When I was young we had fires like this and people who loved you around. The world sucks now.
How am I just finding this now?! Campfires make me fall asleep so fast! Thanks for being awesome and helping me sleep as always. Can't wait to play this for the kids in my kindergarten class, at nap time Monday. The challenge is always not falling asleep myself lol! 😀
