Should hidden or concealed weapons be banned in the United States? I want to know what you think! But, please be respectful of each other in the comments. Everyone has the right to their own opinion.
Absolutely not - Gun Control dont work, any bans only hurt lawful citizens - same goes for any other weapon : Edited: I am Canadian and as far as guns go we are so heavy regulated and repressed as far as self defense goes. Knives, spring assist , switch, balisongs are illegal simply because they have a reputation for gang activity - which has no relevance
FYI there is 1 element of american culture that you are not allowed to discuss that is makes it different from mono-ethnities countries. as more countries become more diverse with certain populous - the criminal element and level of violence is rising
WHEE...I get to pretend to be smart. In 1949 the U.S. experienced its first mass shooting which would be known as the Unruh Spree Killings. This incident would occur some 15 years after the National Firearms Act of 1934. Prior to this, while gun crime was hardly unheard of, the repercussions of gun crime were usually rather swift due to the fact that even an 8 year old was legally allowed to own a rifle or side arm. We have regulated weapons in the United States since 1934 and continue to do so to this day. Many areas do not allow pepper spray or tazers which are both less than lethal options which would allow the typical citizen to defend themselves. Karatemart and Kombativ aren't allowed to ship a tazer to Michigan although they are legal to possess and use in the state. Keep in mind that it is perfectly legal to own a military grade flame thrower in Michigan. I believe that it is the right of every citizen to be able to defend themselves from imminent harm. There are those that will say, " If no one has a weapon then there will be no need to defend yourself. ". This is not true. Caine had no weapon and still, Able got his skull crushed with a rock. A hidden weapon, such as the concealed belt knife, or a sword cane draws considerably less attention than say a loaded AK-47 in open carry and is much less likely to be used against an innocent by stander. And as with all weapons, it is your choice to use it or not. There is no requirement that you obtain a weapon. That is up to each individual. However, if you choose to obtain a weapon you also take on the responsibility to learn its use and use it for its intended purpose.
Every country with low crime rate and strict weapon regulation are usually also ethical homogenes like Japan. Countries who have strict weapon regulation and have high crime rate are usually not ethical homogenes like UK or Germany. And the later usually always go for stricter and stricter regulations but with no real effect on the crime rate.
Imo, banning certain weapons never did jack. Look at the Balisong, the most banned knife in the world. Doesn't stop jack. We still get so much stabbings, we literally make horror movies out of them.
Thank you for sharing great video and i like the stun umbrella and you had a stunning day with that weapon. I also like the belt buckle knife as well as the sword cane and that brush with the spike i can get a similar one here in but that one has a knife blade.
Where I live, Sword canes are legal to own, but illegal to carry in public. It's strange. Banning any type of weapon, whether it's a bladed weapon, firearm or bludgeoning weapon, won't stop bad people from getting them and using them to do very bad things. They don't follow current laws, so they most definitely won't follow new or more laws. I'd go with the Hidden Sword cane. I like the blade length, the design and the steel. 1060 is good for sword blades. The shaft being aluminum also helps with durability and can be used as an impact weapon, if necessary of course. Haha. The grippy handle is a plus too.
I love all the hidden weapons and I don't think any of them should be banned we shouldn't be limited to how we protect ourselves GREAT video today ,oh and I love stun guns you've shown they are awesome
4:15 in the video You've asked Amanda to go into the warehouse and get concealed weapons. I immediately think, "Oh no, Kyle's about to be shocked again."
Whooo. I felt that . This is a great channel. I enjoy a salesman that test his own product. Just my man, please be careful you and your staff. Be well folks. We want more show.👍👍👍
As you noted, the complaint about the USA initiating the development of sword canes was silly. Whatever one thinks about sword canes, they are not a uniquely American invention. I tend to think of them as British more than anything else, but you pointed out their popularity in many places at different times in the past. I associate them with cultures where "everyone" has learned fencing at some point in life. Those guys are so into the idea of fencing that they wanted to incorporate a fencing foil into their daily carry routine, but they didn't want a foil flopping around everywhere they went all day. Instead, they incorporated a little blade into their canes and walking sticks. To some extent, I think of the whole thing as a fashion statement rather than a real weapon. Even though people don't see the foil blade, the gentleman who has that classic training in fencing can think of himself as always having a foil at hand. As I've said, losing the shaft off a sword cane is one of my many paranoias about certain kinds of weapons. That makes me prefer a solid cane as an improvised weapon. I walk with a cane for balance, and I prefer the crook forward grip for better stability. I don't know whether that grip would be as good with a sword cane. Sword canes are a little more like fencing foils, and fencing is about having the blade extending from the grip between forefinger and thumb. The way you held this sword in this video is more proper for fencing. If wanted to employ fencing techniques, which I don't know," I'd have to reverse my grip with this kind of sword cane. If I were facing multiple attackers and just wanted to try stabbing and bashing, then dual wielding with the sword in one hand and the shaft in the other would be my best hope. Regardless of my own thoughts about sword canes, I believe in the right to keep and bear arms. That can mean open or concealed carry, and for many situations, concealed carry makes sense. I believe that the Second Amendment applies just as much to blunt force weapons and bladed weapons as to firearms. We all have a right to carry arms. When citizens were mustered to form militia units, many of them may have shown up with a bladed weapon instead of a firearm. Our Founding Fathers believed in carrying weapons as a normal part of life. We think of them carrying firearms, but they were often carrying swords or other bladed weapons. One of my concerns is that a CCW permit might allow carry of a firearm but not apply to bladed weapons in some states. I find that frustrating. I want to be able to slip a push dagger somewhere inconspicuous and be able to stab someone if that's my best way out of an attack. Another reason I believe in concealed carry is that concealed carry means that those intent on hurting others never really know what they may face if they attack someone. They can't see exactly what the person might use in self-defense. They don't know whether the little old lady with the umbrella is going to shock them when they try to mess with her. They don't know whether a small knife is going to come out of nowhere and stab them badly. If someone has practiced getting the shaft off the sword cane, they don't know whether they are going to have a sword cane pushed through their guts and out their backs. They don't know whether they are going to take a chest full of lead from attacking someone who happens to be carrying a firearm. I have no sympathy for society's predators. If they get hurt trying to harm someone who is just minding his or her own business, then that's too bad for them.
Thanks for another great video. I've already made two quick comments, and I'll break up other comments into comments about the weapons and comments about the concealed weapon question. Regarding the Hidden Belt Knife, I'm guessing that the steel is just a 1065 steel. I'm guessing that "German surgical steel" is a marketing term rather than a technical term. I could be completely wrong, but steels need about twelve to thirteen percent chromium to begin having "stainless" properties. Refineries use most carbon steel but have some steels with one to five percent chromium for various reasons. One of the most important is resistance to something called High Temperature Hydrogen Attack (HTHA). These steels look and corrode just like regular carbon steel in the field, and that has led to some serious failures. (I once walked past an elbow six hours before it failed after years of service. There was no reason for that extra six hours of life on the elbow, but I would have been gone over ten years ago if the elbow had failed at that moment.) Maybe someone is making a stainless steel and calling it "German surgical steel." I never know what the marketing people are going to do. To get real rust resistance, it would need about 12% chromium. I brush my beard with the Hidden Brush Spike every morning. This brush is fairly easy to clean, and I like that. I had a fancy Revlon comb that I used to use. In some ways, that comb was better at taming my beard, but it was difficult to clean. I also kept breaking teeth off the comb. I give this one five stars as a daily beard brush. I don't know whether it could get through TSA as part of carry-on luggage. I'm sure it would have no problem going through checked luggage. For someone who has to travel and can't easy carry a more traditional, metal weapon, this one could be a great choice. I like the Hidden Pepper Spray Pen. I like that the outside of the pen is metal. In a pinch, one could probably replace the cap and use the pen as a kubaton. Amanda mentioned a kubaton-on-the-spot improvisation of something on Wednesday, but I went through serious dental torture today. I can't remember anything from Wednesday. I agree with you that pepper spray may require the least training of any of these weapons. The Mini Stealth Neck Knife is cool. As neck knives go, it seems more substantial than most. Having to use a neck knife would be difficult in real life, but when nothing else is available, a neck knife would be a welcome backup. The Hidden Sword Cane looks great as both a cane and a sword. As I've said previously, my big fear with sword canes is that the attacker could end up with one or the other end of the cane. I train with a regular cane to flick the cane upwards into a thrust at a moment's notice. I want to put the tip of the cane into the attacker's solar plexus before he realizes that I'm going to try to defend myself. I'm then going to try to get a two-handed grip on the cane and initiate a series of swinging strikes. If I had a sword cane, that would change to trying to un-sheath the sword and repeat my thrusts with the blade. My fear is that if the attacker grabs the cane, he might come away with the shaft. That gives him a weapon to use against me, and he might have nearly as much reach as I do. Granted, if I can get the shaft removed, I can then dual-wield with the sword and the shaft. I just worry about losing control of the shaft. If I'm picking favorites, I have to pick the Hidden Brush Spike because I have two of them. I'd probably pick the Mini Stealth Neck Knife second because I think it's such a cool version of a neck knife. The hidden sword cane is cool, but I don't know whether I would ever get used to carrying a sword cane.
Only in the US? Sword canes were in use in Europe before the US was founded, lol and there were also versions developed in India(gupti) and Japan(shikomizue) among others. Several Filipino martial arts(probably others too) teach techniques for using canes as weapons. The Irish shillelagh was specifically used to get around weapons bans because it could be called a "walking stick". From this list I like the cane. It seems legitimately functional as a cane and looks like one too, without a handle covered in skulls or some other attention grabbing design that might draw unnecessary attention. Its got a good steel for the blade and can be easily drawn without the hassle of unscrewing. As for banning, no. Bans might stop law abiding citizens from carrying them(or it might not-my grandpa had a pair of brass knucks he sometimes carried despite it being illegal at the time) but it won't stop criminals. And even if you make it impossible to get somehow, the criminal will just carry something else. Are you gonna ban paring knives? Screwdrivers?
Where I live, you can open carry most edged weapons. I carry a good-sized fixed blade every day. The only knife we are restricted on carrying are double edged daggers. Restricting people from carrying a weapon has never detoured crime. Criminals are going to commit crimes, so depriving people of the ability to protect themselves is idiotic.
I am one of the second amendment supporters. As a matter of fact, I have an FNX 45 on my hip right now and I’ve worn it all day while running my errands. I live in a red state. I’ve had a permit to carry a handgun for probably 30 years and my current permit is for all time, assuming I don’t do something stupid to have it revoked. If I can carry a gun, it makes no sense to me at all to think that some sort of bladed weapon or something of that nature should not be available to me, should I so choose.
I really like the neck knife. The sword cane is also a nice toil for self-defense. As far as whether or not we should ban or regulate weapons, I would say it's a grey area. I say this because even if you do ban or regulate some or all types of weapons, the offenders will not comply, and you can't control everyone. I would be fine without firearms. I'm not a big firearm person in respect to using it against another human being. I know combat or defense is not fair, but to add a firearm makes it even less fair. If everyone carries a tool for self-defense(with the acception of criminals because it's for nefarious purposes with them) I feel that crime would be lower as everyone is armed and thus a criminal would be less likely to attack another person as the risk of the attacker getting hurt or killed would arise. Texas is a good example of this. Crime rates are low due to the majority of citizens carrying. If you ban something, then that will lead to high underground activity like we ha e seen with the prohibition. Make it legal to carry, and there won't be much of a problem. That's just my opinion 🤷 Thanks for being awesome 😏👍
When kyle read the comment. It sounded like they were not from the US. All i can say is. If you banned weapons that can be hidden. Its not really make a difference. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. Most crimes can't happen in an actually well regulated and well armed society that is encouraged by their government to defend themselves, loved ones, property, and america. "Gun control" doesn't work. Most crimes happen where people's 2nd amendment is infringed.
Should hidden or concealed weapons be banned in the United States? I want to know what you think! But, please be respectful of each other in the comments. Everyone has the right to their own opinion.
They should not be banned 🇺🇸 because enemies would dare not invade a country where a good portion of its citizens are armed. The ultimate deterrent.
NOT banned. Absolutely not.

Humans have the right to self defense, no matter what weapon it is. I personally don’t think anything should be banned.
Exactly 💯%!

It is not about the weapon, never was, it is what lives in your heart. Anything can kill whether for good or evil. Both David and Cain used a rock.
