I think Christians today conveniently ignore the fact that Christ was a "criminal". On many occasions He broke religious laws and most authorities considered that as acts of sedition.
Like our first century Christian Brothers 2000 years ago were persecuted incarcerated and martyred, today's Christians here in the United States should also be persecuted, incarcerated and murdered for practicing their faith. If that's not happening maybe then we should be reevaluating our beliefs.
