Thanks for your review, Chase! You have raised some valid points, and as a startup company, these are some items we are addressing. Appreciate your input on them as we are ironing out any wrinkles. The instructions are much better now (sorry you got the old ones!) and we include the stereo jack now. We are aware of the warranty card issue - original website that no longer exists. The warranty is valid, just contact us through the website if you have any problems.
The noise (and muddiness on installation) shouldn’t be there and I’d presume this was an installation issue, as all other reviews specifically showed there is no noise - see Igor Paspalj, Leon Todd. Truck Driver Shawn had to turn his noise gate down significantly in fact. Nick Leonard shows the frequency response graph that shows how much noise is filtered out. The aim is clear signal from the source, then you can adjust it to your liking down the line with pedals, Axe FX3, etc.
If you have any questions, we’re happy to talk to you - Shawn has our direct contact details.
Thanks again and all the best wishes for the future, mate! 👍🏻

Hi! I’m glad to hear you all are working to improve things. It was a frustrating experience but as you pointed out it could also have been my install error, or I was totally wrong with what I was expecting. But that doesn’t mean I’m not open to trying it again in the future if an upgrade or new model should arise.
I look forward to watching the product grow and make improvements.
Thanks for reaching out and thanks for watching!

This reminds me of the Duncan 2 band pre amp for passive pickups. I understand they are marketing two different things. It just made me think about it. As it claims to improve signal and clarity, my 28 pedals do that very well without a change in volume only in cleaning up signal with a buffer. It's basically an expensive buffer that works really well and is very noticeable, clean, and overdriven. It's a great idea, the less pedals, the better. Having an envelope filter that you could adjust wired to your guitar is a great idea, but this seems like it's preset and non adjustable.

Yea, thats a lot for a booster that you solder into your guitar. We have tons of pedals these days, I would rather get one of those. You could almost get an Empress Para EQ deluxe, that would do a lot more.

With active pickups, you can use the existing battery, just need to splice the red wire and attach to the on the existing battery wire.

That was my goal but being this wasn’t mine to keep, I didn’t want to ruin something that was sent to me on loan.

The worst was the guitar sounding muddier with the module in off position than the guitar without it at all ( noticed WAY before you put the section , not your imagination definitively ) .
Also they write something like "controllable harmonic feedback" which i do not know what they are referring too, since i have a sustainiac and on his info-page it states something similar with a completely different sonic meaning .
Nice to see some "anti - hype " review for once .
