This film depicts the building of a home in June and July 1941 on Notre Dame street in Grosse Pointe, Mich. The film begins showing the construction company office in Grosse Pointe and then the complete construction of the house and depicting many Detroit area companies. It also gives terrific insight to the cars and people in 1941 and also the interior of an upper middle class home in 1941.-historicusjoe

I think I know the current owner. Hope to get a tour soon. Would love to see how the home has changed over the years. Our home was built in 1901. Wish there were more records and info on it.
