I'm struggling with making high quality videos. After rendering my videos look great on my computer but after being uploaded to TH-cam the quality drops a lot! This is obviously a big problem with a hectic game like Overwatch. Are there any specific settinfs that I have to use to have TH-cam not totally mess up my videos? As I said they look GREAT before being uploaded.

Well no, crosshair placement is distinctly NOT aim. It's preemptive placement. Aim is your ability to _move_ the crosshair to adjust and hit/track a target. Better to _listen_ rather than trying to quote mine for inconsistencies you invent. Placement makes _adjusting_ aka "Aim" easier. You don't have to aim if they walk into your crosshair placement.

Yes, you have to make small adjustments accurately, and that comes with practice; but as Freedo said, crosshair placement simply makes it easier. It's easier to make a small adjustment to get a head shot, compare to a large one. If your crosshair is already had head height it's fairly easy to tweak it slightly to land the shot. If you are starring at the sky and have to drag the crosshair almost the entire height of your screen, you are far less likely to land the hit. Even a pro would have a hard time landing that shot. Part of what makes them good is their corsshair placement. This is a pretty basic thing you should do in all competitive shooters.

Well, I just got to Master this season with 15 games, and boy.. I'm not that good at the game. Honestly, I feel like that to hit Master/low-GM you just need to have a decent aim and basic knowledge. But.. top 500 is another game, really.
The one thing you're wrong about is that nobody will judge you in deathmatch... definitely have had people talk trash on me and others for using deathmatch to practice heroes.

Her blaster is pretty good, so if you hit shots and know how to be sneaky and hide she is plays well in DM. I got 2nd the other day with Mercy and somebody said in the match chat that it was sad that a Mercy got 2nd place... really didn't feel that sad, though.

ImAviex Well against a widow jumping a lot won't work because it is too predictable. Jumping work against a soldier or other common dps. For widow just crouch at the right time and kill her.

Your Overwatch yeah, I guess but I need some actual tips like the best console sensitivity, how you make small adjustments with higher sensitivity, and button mapping.
i once heard a good tip for consoles is to have low vertical sensitivity and medium to slightly high horizontal for sniping, but that was for cod infinite warfare i think, even tho the guy was landing really good shots, dont know if that can help you with widow

Dorado's Finest I hesitate actually before the shot. Sometimes I have a great shot but I hesitate and I miss the shot, inducing some anger from myself for my own mercy, even if that's a virtue in real life. In Overwatch it's not a good thing

Just so everyone knows, the razor deathader mouse is a GOOD mouse but breaks easily. Ive gone through 4 in 3 years and ive never mis-treated them. I moved to the Logitech G403 mouse, which feels very similar with similar buttons. Have had that mouse for almost 2 years and its never missed a step. That little tid-bit at the beginning just made me want to say something :)
I've had keyboards and mice from razer and they all failed within a year. Moved to corsair and Haven't had an issue in over 3 years now. Razer is the Apple of gaming. You pay for the name.
If you have shit aim and try to remedy that by buying a better mouse be prepared to face some major dissappointment. This applies to every fps in existence. A better mouse only helps those that have good aim from the start. Not sure why you thought a mouse would make a massive difference

:) About Widow, the first important fact it's that you have to worry about just for the enemies that are just next to you or another sniper. You can easily take your time for those head-shots; the beginners common mistake it's that they have an itchy trigger shooting too soon, same as the common mistake of the wannabe flankers of her, rushing like that Tracer from up front and not from a side or behind. You have always to engage the enemy where you are the best and he's as his weak.
Thanks for this video, I went through a phase of playing widowmaker, and I was pretty good, got a few potg's, the cute, the pixel. But then I mailed mercy in competitive and my aim as widow has decreased. And I think that this will be a huge help to me.😀
I completely suck with sniper rifles. I love how versatile her rifle is from that switch function. From submachine gun to sniper rifle. I need ALOT of practice.
Just got this game on the black Friday sale and I knew nothing about it I never even read or watched any reviews on it. After playing for a couple days and being a huge team fortress fan I was so pleasantly surprised and I'm already calling it my favorite game of all time and I'm not a big online FPS player.
Currently practicing flick shots on bots, it’s kinda working. Definitely helping get my confidence up cos I tend to panic and just madly fire in one direction.

Razer? Really? I've had several Razer products over the last few years, and none have lasted more than like...8 months. They were just so easy to buy compared to most other gaming equipment. Sure they feel nice, But they don't last. Seems like they break easy. (I don't bash my peripherals around, And I've gone through two razer keyboards alone.) Then I grabbed the Logitech G710+ at the beginning of 2015, And after daily use it still feels new. Not a hiccup with it. But that said, I'll be entering for the Deathadder. My Gskill RipJaws started falling apart two months after getting it and I've just been putting off getting w new mouse.
my logitech keyboard didnt work when it came right out of the package and the buttons felt very flimsy, switched it for a razer black widow ultimate, the kb is more than 5 years old and still works great but i recently switched to a razer blackwidow chroma X, awesome keyboard and really sturdy

My Razer keyboard still works perfectly after 3 years, but my Razer mouse didn't last long. They are kind of hit and miss. Logitech is almost always solid though, I'd recommend them over Razer.
Trickshots get very easy as you learn the muscle memory of adjusting to the fall. Using trickshots on defense will get easy picks. Here are some locations: -Techartha statue on kings row -appex of roof directly in front of attacker spawn on defending side -bridge/corner of upper building on hanamura -bridge on junkertown -sphere satalite thing on gibraltar -statues on blizzard world -banner on numbani -one of the two first buildings on dorado -top bridge or boat on temple of anubis
Watching this video now for some tips 3 years after, still some useful stuff. But that scatter arrow at 12:50 gave me horrible flashbacks to old Hanzo. We take for granted how lucky we are for new Hanzo, even if he is still a little annoying.

Gear isn't going to make you any better. You don't just buy a mouse and magically get good. You can do the same things you do here with a $2 mouse. This is mostly a placebo effect, honestly. If anything, the mouse that would ACTUALLY help 100%, is a Logitech G900, G403, G703, or G903. Why? There's a reason why Razer is now using the line of 3360 sensors. It was exclusive to Logitech for a while. But either way, you should be focusing on design, mouse shape, weight, and comfort. I've been on razer mice most of my life. However, I tried a corsair, then a G502, and now I"m on a G900.. You know those times when your cord gets caught on something, and you end up dying because it messed your aim up? The All of those wireless logitech mice do not have this problem. I was very skeptical of going wireless, but I'm glad I did. For those saying "BUT YOU CAN'T GET A MOUSE BUNGEE". Yes, I can. I did get one. It greatly reduced the part where it would snag on something, but it was not gone entirely. The 403/900 though? zero cables to get caught. Realistically speaking, the 903/900 are the best mice you can buy right now. No single mouse is going to make you better. Doesn't matter what it is. But not having a cord WILL stop your mouse cord from getting snagged.
As widow, if you miss, u will get spoted, if u hit the shot but dont kill, the enemy will panic. If you kill they will pay a little more attention on you. So, after 3 kills change your position
How is Razer the best? They're like the Apple of gaming gear. Overpriced and mediocore quality. I'd take Logitech, Corsair, Steelseries, Roccat and ASUS ROG over them all day every day. Did you and your friends even try other gear? Razer just looks good and they're good at marketing.
I'm an ex-Widow. I now do Lucio. There is legitimately no reason to play Widowmaker. At all. You can play Mcree or 76 and get all the benefit of what Widowmaker could do, just not in one big burst. The game doesn't support characters like Widowmaker, and they're just there to lure people in from the harder FPS games to play Overwatch. You're honestly better off not playing her. At the end of the day, for all the skill Widow requires, you can just play the other hitscan and not have all the negatives of Widow.
Irrelevant. What they accomplish isn't what the majority accomplishes. At the end of the day, there is no reason to select her over one of the easier to play hitscans. How much you want to bet Kephrii's play time on soldier and mcree is twice that of their Widow?
Your opinion just shows your lack of knowledge. Overwatch is a team game and having one man down is already the biggest disadvantage. Widowmaker is able take out targets with one-click on less then a 1.5 second cooldown, she has infinite range so she is able to do it safely too, with good mobility and vision. That is one of the most strongest things you can have. Yes their are barriers but if there weren't windowmaker would be too strong and too easy. Being able to kill targets with one click needs to be balanced. Your comment just sounds like a salty windowmaker who couldn't do good with her. She is highskill cap unlike soldier.
I'm diamond but have a secret love for widow. Have almost 75 hours on her and I can say the grapple shots are a culmination of constant practice and muscle memory. I find if I try to land them I miss, but if I grapple up and let my reflexes kick on I'll hit it 60-75% of the time
I'm a low ranking player from South Africa. I have played a lot of Widow since death match was released. I'm getting better. But its important to know that at the lower ranks players don't jump as often. So I'm beter at waiting for the one player that actually jumps to land the hit the head shot. I'm sure in higher ranks its more important to get shot in the air. There is one issue with all hit scan that no European on American played ever keep in mind, and that is latency. (On a good day my ping is 190ms)When i play widow, i have to make shots before the head is on my cursor, so to me, its more important to anticipate moments than it is to wait for movement animations.
I suck at widowmaker so much i can't hit the broadside of a roadhog. but today I decided to practice in a ffa widowmaker hs only custom lobby. Spent about 5 hours in there my hands and eyes were worn out. I quit and went to qp for a quick match before I stopped playing for the day. Potg instantly with a triple kill i was so happy

Ive had the same deathadder for like 8 years.
Ive had my Deathadder Chroma for nearly 3 years with zero issues other than one of the sliders/pads on the bottom scratching off

Recently i've purchased a deathadder 2016 edition. I love the ergonomics of it and it does help quite a lot with my accuracy then and now.

:) About Widow, the first important fact it's that you have to worry about just for the enemies that are just next to you or another sniper. You can easily take your time for those head-shots; the beginners common mistake it's that they have an itchy trigger shooting too soon, same as the common mistake of the wannabe flankers of her, rushing like that Tracer from up front and not from a side or behind. You have always to engage the enemy where you are the best and he's as his weak.

Thanks for this video, I went through a phase of playing widowmaker, and I was pretty good, got a few potg's, the cute, the pixel. But then I mailed mercy in competitive and my aim as widow has decreased. And I think that this will be a huge help to me.😀

Just got this game on the black Friday sale and I knew nothing about it I never even read or watched any reviews on it. After playing for a couple days and being a huge team fortress fan I was so pleasantly surprised and I'm already calling it my favorite game of all time and I'm not a big online FPS player.

Razer? Really? I've had several Razer products over the last few years, and none have lasted more than like...8 months. They were just so easy to buy compared to most other gaming equipment. Sure they feel nice, But they don't last. Seems like they break easy. (I don't bash my peripherals around, And I've gone through two razer keyboards alone.) Then I grabbed the Logitech G710+ at the beginning of 2015, And after daily use it still feels new. Not a hiccup with it. But that said, I'll be entering for the Deathadder. My Gskill RipJaws started falling apart two months after getting it and I've just been putting off getting w new mouse.
I suppose I'm lucky because I've had the same Razer mouse for like 8 years.
my logitech keyboard didnt work when it came right out of the package and the buttons felt very flimsy, switched it for a razer black widow ultimate, the kb is more than 5 years old and still works great but i recently switched to a razer blackwidow chroma X, awesome keyboard and really sturdy

My Razer keyboard still works perfectly after 3 years, but my Razer mouse didn't last long. They are kind of hit and miss. Logitech is almost always solid though, I'd recommend them over Razer.

Trickshots get very easy as you learn the muscle memory of adjusting to the fall. Using trickshots on defense will get easy picks. Here are some locations:
-Techartha statue on kings row
-appex of roof directly in front of attacker spawn on defending side
-bridge/corner of upper building on hanamura
-bridge on junkertown
-sphere satalite thing on gibraltar
-statues on blizzard world
-banner on numbani
-one of the two first buildings on dorado
-top bridge or boat on temple of anubis

Watching this video now for some tips 3 years after, still some useful stuff. But that scatter arrow at 12:50 gave me horrible flashbacks to old Hanzo. We take for granted how lucky we are for new Hanzo, even if he is still a little annoying.
Practice and find a dependable mouse.
Or just play hero's that don't require aim and install aimbot 👍

Gear isn't going to make you any better. You don't just buy a mouse and magically get good. You can do the same things you do here with a $2 mouse. This is mostly a placebo effect, honestly. If anything, the mouse that would ACTUALLY help 100%, is a Logitech G900, G403, G703, or G903. Why? There's a reason why Razer is now using the line of 3360 sensors. It was exclusive to Logitech for a while. But either way, you should be focusing on design, mouse shape, weight, and comfort. I've been on razer mice most of my life. However, I tried a corsair, then a G502, and now I"m on a G900.. You know those times when your cord gets caught on something, and you end up dying because it messed your aim up? The All of those wireless logitech mice do not have this problem. I was very skeptical of going wireless, but I'm glad I did. For those saying "BUT YOU CAN'T GET A MOUSE BUNGEE". Yes, I can. I did get one. It greatly reduced the part where it would snag on something, but it was not gone entirely. The 403/900 though? zero cables to get caught. Realistically speaking, the 903/900 are the best mice you can buy right now. No single mouse is going to make you better. Doesn't matter what it is. But not having a cord WILL stop your mouse cord from getting snagged.

As widow, if you miss, u will get spoted, if u hit the shot but dont kill, the enemy will panic.
If you kill they will pay a little more attention on you.

How is Razer the best? They're like the Apple of gaming gear. Overpriced and mediocore quality. I'd take Logitech, Corsair, Steelseries, Roccat and ASUS ROG over them all day every day. Did you and your friends even try other gear? Razer just looks good and they're good at marketing.

I'm an ex-Widow. I now do Lucio. There is legitimately no reason to play Widowmaker. At all. You can play Mcree or 76 and get all the benefit of what Widowmaker could do, just not in one big burst. The game doesn't support characters like Widowmaker, and they're just there to lure people in from the harder FPS games to play Overwatch. You're honestly better off not playing her.
At the end of the day, for all the skill Widow requires, you can just play the other hitscan and not have all the negatives of Widow.

Irrelevant. What they accomplish isn't what the majority accomplishes. At the end of the day, there is no reason to select her over one of the easier to play hitscans. How much you want to bet Kephrii's play time on soldier and mcree is twice that of their Widow?
Your opinion just shows your lack of knowledge. Overwatch is a team game and having one man down is already the biggest disadvantage. Widowmaker is able take out targets with one-click on less then a 1.5 second cooldown, she has infinite range so she is able to do it safely too, with good mobility and vision. That is one of the most strongest things you can have. Yes their are barriers but if there weren't windowmaker would be too strong and too easy. Being able to kill targets with one click needs to be balanced. Your comment just sounds like a salty windowmaker who couldn't do good with her. She is highskill cap unlike soldier.

I'm diamond but have a secret love for widow. Have almost 75 hours on her and I can say the grapple shots are a culmination of constant practice and muscle memory. I find if I try to land them I miss, but if I grapple up and let my reflexes kick on I'll hit it 60-75% of the time
This helped me SO much. This kind of helps on console as well if you just think about what the instructions are abd just try and do it on console

I'm a low ranking player from South Africa. I have played a lot of Widow since death match was released. I'm getting better. But its important to know that at the lower ranks players don't jump as often. So I'm beter at waiting for the one player that actually jumps to land the hit the head shot. I'm sure in higher ranks its more important to get shot in the air. There is one issue with all hit scan that no European on American played ever keep in mind, and that is latency. (On a good day my ping is 190ms)When i play widow, i have to make shots before the head is on my cursor, so to me, its more important to anticipate moments than it is to wait for movement animations.
I suck at widowmaker so much i can't hit the broadside of a roadhog. but today I decided to practice in a ffa widowmaker hs only custom lobby. Spent about 5 hours in there my hands and eyes were worn out. I quit and went to qp for a quick match before I stopped playing for the day. Potg instantly with a triple kill i was so happy
