Some trains in the newest added island are still without sound and also airplanes like in Stavanger when it takes off above the road doesn't have sound either. I hope they will fix it and add the sounds.
It's not neutral gear sound that it's missing, it's the sound of the gear engaged while moving without throttling, you can notice it even since @1.51 on your example. You should hear the engine decreasing RPM, changing gear down while increasing the RPM, etc... not just complete silence. I just hope it's because it's a beta, or else this update doesn't bode well.

Have you noticed some of the trucks sounds arent right i.e DAF's sound like new gen scania and the old one does two, the indicator on the new gen scania is also broken or is it just me?? The rest of the trucks though sound great!!!
@@lucadingens499 I tried a different profile that WASN'T save edited and they seem to be fixed but it could be the bug they fixed. The truck horns aren't as good as I thought. They are too American and don't suit a European truck

I left the door and window on my truck open in rain many times, as I had to get out and back in and everything is working fine. It just gets wet, but the water doesn't go inside of the buttons and switches.
I find this to be a very controversial update.. here's why: - The new air horn noises although more realistic, were in the game since its launch, and a lot of people had nostalgia for them. Also, half of the new ones were ports from ATS, which is pretty lazy - The route adviser sound, although a minor change, it's pretty noticeable. The sound now has echo, which I find to be a pretty bad idea. Why? Because the echo was what differentiated the route advisor from ATS and ETS2. The ETS2 one had no echo, while the ATS one did. Now, they are both the same. Also, it for some reason got a lot louder. I just liked it the way it was before. [This one only applies for truckersMP] - The new doppler effect, is a lot worse. What do I mean? The old doppler effect included things like reverse beeper, air sounds, etc. The new one, since SCS didn't integrate those sounds, don't have them either. So if someone is reversing, no matter how quick you are going, the beep will stay the same. All things considered, I like this update. If SCS didn't change the horn sounds, I would love this update. The walking and windows are great. Thanks for such a great video toast!

Installed 1.37 beta of ETS2, but the engine sounds cut off as soon as i let go of the throttle, making it very undesirable to play(no mods). ATS 1.37 works great though.

If you don’t know how to get the beta is by having the steam on your computer or laptop so for order to get this thing you go on steam then go on library then right click euro truck simulator 2 then it will say properties click on it then it will say betas then select the version 1.37
When I play ets2 there isn't the option in the control settings to open window and close and I can't see f mod so I pretty much didn't receive the update 😕
they should make a dlc for the windows now, like adding wind deflectors above them to reduce noise if its open also the actros 2009 is glitched and now if you use the dashboard table, you cant put the little toys on it, but they show up on the outside still

i found my DAF's sound bizarre, looks like something is missing, like the neutral sound is missing, who else noticed it @1.55 also?
It's not neutral gear sound that it's missing, it's the sound of the gear engaged while moving without throttling, you can notice it even since @1.51 on your example. You should hear the engine decreasing RPM, changing gear down while increasing the RPM, etc... not just complete silence. I just hope it's because it's a beta, or else this update doesn't bode well.

That is a bug that was confirmed by scs and will be fixed during the open beta. The truckhorns will be updated aswell

submit bug report to scs. it's a beta after all, it's whole purpose is for ppl to find and report bugs.
