10/10 video. it's sad to see a game basically being run by the community but also heartwarming to see so many people doing their best to keep it alive. you're all doing incredible work.
Holy crap. Dude this video just popped up randomly on my feed. I have been scouring the internet for the better part of a decade trying to find this game. I played it when I was a kid and remember loving it but was never able to remember what it was called. Thank you!!!!
Exactly what I was hoping for when I decided to make TH-cam video on Habbo Origins! If you end up making an account and playing let me know your name in game, I will hook you up with some rares to get started
Interacting with this so it gets some more community engagement, but just popping by to say that I remember the good old days of Habbo, the "golden era" and I remember how many cloned Hotels there used to be, Habbo Retros they used to be called? I used to run my own Retro based off a project called "Phoenix Retro". Those were awesome moments when you got it all working as a host lol The concept was very similar. Reviving the older habbo versions and returning with free gold and loads of previously limited and even custom items becoming a thing. Sadly most didn't last due to costs + a huge amount of legal issues, effectively being a rip of the old contents + new contents and turning players away from the original server where you'd pay for everything... Sulake did chase a few bigger ones from back in the day. I don't know their current stance.
Ah yes, Phoenix emulator, from the old Otaku forums right? 2009 - 2011 somewhere between those years? Thats a shelved memory I completely forgot about until now. I also remember the Otaku forums was sued by Habbo for selling Phoenix Emulator.

Shout out the GiF empire for keeping the community alive same to GM
