- The biggest Quake Live LAN event is finally here. Like previous years, the tournament will be divided into different tournaments throughout 3 days.
On Thursday, day 1 we'll see a focus on Quakelive Duel.
On Friday, the second day, the granddaddy of First-Person Shooters returns - Intel QUAKEWORLD 2on2 Team Deathmatch Open will take place on regular QuakeCon stream.
Last but certainly not least, day 3 will wrap it all up with two grand finals - Quake Live duel and QuakeWorld 2on2.

Is Rapha an alien ? He doesn't think like a normal human being. Plus it looks like he has no emotions. Odd and awesome player. It's a pleasure to watch him in action.

amazing how lucky rapha is getting away with less than 10 health multiple times on elder also on bloodrun after ratting half the map evil finnaly finds him but fall from the platform in the middle of the fight with full stack advantage
by the way rapha was so fuckin' lucky

I mean if they're dumb enough to keep that terrible map in the tournament pool, then maybe they won't be able to produce the game that I'm hoping for. Unfortunately, no one else seems to be doing it either.

It's not about me not liking a map- I hate ZTN, but it's a fairly balanced map -Elder is completely unbalanced. That is the problem I have with their mindset: if they keep promoting a completely unbalanced map, how in the world are they going to balance all the elements of Champions? Combine that with the fact that they still have crappy net-code on Quake Live and they removed features from the game, and I wonder if they will be able to keep Quake fans happy, let alone attract a new base.
The market is already over-saturated with arena shooters; we need one game that can mimic them all with edits by the host. That way, CPM players, VQL players, Warsow player, CS players, etc can all be playing the same game, just in separate lobbies. Imagine the money a game like that could bring in, allowing it to constantly improve.

Тока что поглядел на твиче финал. Вытираю пот со лба. Спойлерить не буду. Скажу тока, что Серёга прошёл через группу, снова отыграл с рафой, проиграл, вылетел в сетку лузеров, через неё вышел в финал, а там снова рафа сидит.) Ну а по финалу - такого накала давно не видал.)

in any fast pace game, evil distroys rapha eazy. Rapha needs elder, lost world(sadly not in map pool) and bloodrun to rat his way out of misery.

Rapha manufactures luck from positioning and opportunity. "Zis is rapha" didn't come from simply being lucky.

Lasted another 4 years, Rapha looking as good as ever. No evil on the scene any more though :(
