Sig just released a new version of that optic that is enclosed. Kinda hard to find right now but might be a better (and more expensive) option. Other downside is that these new enclosed optics are NOT multi-reticle from what I can tell.
Interesting, I’ll check it out. Multi reticle is a cool function. But what I tend to do it just keep it on the dot and not use any of the other reticles. But if they are charging more than I would say it’s not a good value because the EPS carry is the same price point.
@@americanpatriotdefense8988 Holosun is a Chinese OEMfr & can use slave labor, they also have few business regs like western countries have to navigate. It's pathetic when so-called Patriots even mention Chinese OEMfrs.
This is true performance wise it did fine. I just did not like how quickly the glass gets dirty. It’s an issue I have not had with other open emitters.
It's certainly expensive for what it is, I agree. On the upside it's not made in China and frankly that should matter to people as a matter of principle. I get it, lots of people can't afford a domestic tax to keep it American. It's also shameful they didn't provide button lockout, how hard would it have been to lock on two button press and hold WTF?! It's not defined for any of the other models so that was a freebie. I also wish it had adaptive brightness like the Trijicon but the 507K and closed Holosun units don't either.
Good point, I could be wrong on this but I’m thinking it’s only assembled in the USA I think the majority of the parts are still sourced outside. Always, I’m think in the next couple years we’re are going to see some big innovation with RDS.
This Sig parts come from china so do t kid yourself, it’s assembled in the USA. You would be very hard press to find a RDS where some of not all parts came from a china or another less developed country.
Yes, I use them often when cleaning my lenses. However, my issue is the frequency I have to clean it. You might like it and find it tolerable. But for the money, I would pick other options.

The new optics are multi reticle still.

The scs carry rocks i have it on a g48. Personally i like green more than red.
I’ve been interested in taking a look at it. I keep going back and forth between that and an EPS carry.
The CCP thanks you!
_"Performance wise, it did fine..."_ Skip to the 12:01 mark to hear him say that important part.

It's not that the Sig is overpriced, it's that Chinese OEM stuff like Holosun is cheaper because slave labor & few business regs.

You ever heard of a q tip?
