Pete, you have all the fun. Several years ago, my baby brother (he's 64) helped a friend ferry a Twin Beech on floats from Minnesota, to South Dakota, to Montana, to Oregon, to Needles California over 2000 kilometers. He referred to himself as "Otto Pilot" because of all the hand flying. Grand adventure. Thanks for sharing a beautiful video. Jim
Beautiful aircraft . I always liked the look of the Beech 18 .I jumped out of a Beech 18 more than a few times back in 1979 to 1981 . It could take up to 13 jumpers with no seats of course . It sure didn't look as pristine as this aircraft though ! Once we were at 10500 feet on jump run when the pilot said we were standing still because of very strong head winds . We actually landed with the aircraft and that was a very strange experience ! LOL
At first I thought it was a model, then I thought "at last a pilot who tries to make the manourvres look scale" then I thought "the sound is too good, they are dubbing the sound of a real one". Even as the guy taxied in I was looking "is that a dummy or a man". All this goes to show how good the models are these days.
Geez, the onboard sound systems Hobbyking sell now are rather good, it sounds almost real...I'm struggling to see how they get the Lipo's into this one....I assume it's 8S (4S x 2) 😜😜😜
