How to breastfeed and bottle-feed at the same time without baby getting nipple confusion?

I have been breastfeeding and bottle-feeding my baby since she was a newborn. Now, at 8 months old, she continues with both methods. It's possible that starting early and being consistent have helped her do both without any issues. Even though breastfeeding was painful in the beginning, I trained her to do both. Consistency has been key. 😉

@@JudineMullen thankyou for your reply. How many bottles a day when she was a newborn?

@@bushrahanif You’re welcome! I breastfed exclusively for six weeks. When my baby reached six weeks of age, she began cluster feeding and became quite fussy. It was a stressful time. At that point, I decided to supplement with formula. It was a tough decision for me because I had wanted to exclusively breastfeed for her first six months. However, during my baby product planning process, I researched and purchased two cans of formula with good ingredients, so I felt comfortable with that decision. I started supplementing with one bottle of formula a day and gave it to her before bed. Looking back, it was the best decision for both my baby and me, as she was more comfortable, and I was less stressed. Keep in mind that I'm only able to produce milk from one breast due to my history of breast cancer, so exclusively breastfeeding may be easier with two working breasts. ☺️
My baby is thriving at 8 months old, and I'm still breastfeeding while supplementing with formula as needed. She typically has two to three 7oz bottles of formula per day, but she prefers breastmilk. XO
