Hello, I found your channel while doing research. I am from Turkey and have a similar problem and your eye prosthesis looks beautiful! I hope it will be good for your health and make you comfortable also🙏 Can I ask a question? The corneal condition in my right eye is very similar to yours, I wear prosthetic contact lenses, but I can no longer adapt. What do you think about using a prosthetic eye, lens or prosthetic eye, and how is the mobility of your prosthetic eye? Can it act as the movingt structure of the healthy eye? Waiting for your reply 🙏
My left eye without the prosthesis has a lot of movement. With the contact on it moves but not as much without it. But for someone who doesn’t know you are blind they shouldn’t tell a difference
No they don’t have to remove the eye if the eye is healthy. If your eyes are different sizes like mine was, an ocularist will help with that. The ocularist will first use liquid latex and fill your eye socket up to create the mold of your eye. Once that is done your ocularist will make a clear prosthetic called a Scleral shell. For the next 8 to 10 weeks you’ll wear the prosthetic until it feels comfortable or as close as possible. Be completely honest if there is rubbing, poking or a burning sensation. You’ll return to the ocularist office once a week to make changes until it feels comfortable. Once that is done, your ocularist will create a white acrylic mold of the clear shell. you’ll return to the office for the painting. It is done in person. Once that is complete the ocularist will put a clear coat over everything finishing it off.
@@Zee33_YT okay² thankyou so much for answering my question but for my situation i think my eye is normally healthy I'm watching your videos many times in putting and removing your prosthetic lens. But hehe I have no money to buy I'll try to work hard to buy an prosthetic lens.
