This comparison was for those that requested it and to see the difference in firepower. As seen Avenger can only beat Smuta in close range with higher DPS. Other than that Smuta is pretty much superior in all other aspects like having 100% hit rate up to 500m range.
Tbh, the smuta meta is just sad and annoying. Although the nucleon-atomizer meta was broken too me and I'm sure many others enjoyed it. I wish we could go back to the good old days where the meta wasn't so overpowered, and meta bots weren't only available ( quite literally ) to p2w players. just after they make the drop rates higher for them with a new event, after a few weeks they just nerf it to the ground
Smuta is similar to the Hel, not because of the firing mechanics, but the way they deleted enemies so reliably even at close range despite being a range setup. Both Hel and Smuta are viable on Orochi at their peak strength even for brawling. I think that the Smuta will just get nerfed like the Hel, decreased ammo capacity and longer reload.
I run mk3 smuta,but i will be glad if it gets nerf,i appreciate the weapon which follows the theory of a bullet,have seen homing missiles but a homing machine guns seems to be very funny,i am unsupportive with the content,it underestimates many skillfull players who rely fully on skills but cant efford the meta,In total i want to say,i am greatly disappointed by pixo for this art of forming war with bending weapon.

The fact that they don't care or even touch meta weapons a bit while p2w players have them nerfing those weapons right after f2p players get them from a new event with high drop rates for those weapons is what's most depressing to me tbh. ( Maybe after the bad matchmaking but yeah ).
It would be horrible for a homing weapon to do more damage at point blank where it doesn't even home at all. Besides, Smuta still has the reload while firing and faster effect accumulation.

Even now i am still using them and my Hades with Paralysis and Avenger deals insane dmg in close quarters cause Avenger doesnt run out of ammo and locks and freezes everything down. Im currently building Magnetars for him but Halos are doing just fine in close range against anything squishy and spread lockdown and freeze really well so i can keep some distance. I'll never forget Halo era when it was good.
Avenger is still fairly decent. It's the only viable blue weapon, and it's quite cheap to max out at only 60million silver. Now the Smuts has been nerfed, as expected, and the avenger is the same. The Smita also costs almost 3x as much to max out. You can get 3 avengers for the same price as one Smuta. Imo avenger is only good with sharpshooter skill, but if you can get it, it's about 1.75x of a punisher t even after its nerfs. Now it only does 75 percent of the damage it used to, but it's still very cheap and very viable.
Loving all this behemoth coverage, if only there was a weapon to test out against the zeniths 🤣 haven't seen footage of a zenith behemoth in over a year, a video of like zeniths Vs chimera maybe would be really really cool
Personally, it's hard to choose. Well, I would use avengers because I'm more of a brawling player than a camper so I would for the avengers cuz why not. The smutas are so overpowered and stupid. They should be deleted from the game or get a huge nerf. At the side note, the avenger has longer reload time than the smuta so if you're a type of camper (which would be very stupid) I would go for the smuta despite of the massive firepower it has.

Avenger solid option for seraph since titans are easy to hit and you usually only challenge them in flight so 10s reload is fine, also much cheaper to get to mk2
I thought it was a joke but seems like it's not smuta is literally avenger with aimbot on but avenger seems to be doing well but at the same time, there are 4 of them, and needed 2 pilot skills to make it perform better it would be nice to have my old favorite avenger back :( doing 1000 damage a bullet having better accuracy and doing 440.000 damage per clip with no damage boosters on the ao jun it use to be a powerhouse shredding u in 3s didn't matter if u were a tank or not if u move u dead good times but don't think it would hart the meta it would just give new options

@@pilot1730 Bruh what... u must have never used avenger in there prime ok let me give you an example u saw what punchers did to revenants right they would lose a lot of health or be deleted and now imagine the same thing on avenger instead of doing 3700 which is punchers damage per bullet it would be doing 2000 damage the cause the avenger fires 2 bullets a the same time it would be doing 1700 less a bullet well in this case the puncher was nerfed so now it does 3300 damage per bullet so avenger would be doing 1300 less than puncher and punchers does like 130.000 damage a clip now instead of 150.000 before the nerf and avenger would be doing 440.000 damage a clip and that's ignoring the nuclear amplifier if that was added it would be in the 700.000+ range in damage a clip and thats just 1 avenger it's literally doing more damage than 4 punchers (with no nuclear amplifier) but sure the takes 3s to deliver its damage and avenger 10s but u can do all this with just 1 avenger do you see how much damage you can do before you reload are u really going to tell me that avenger would struggle to kill a Revenant? Or anything else?

It's disappointing how bad the avengers are nerfed. If you have to be that close to be effective then might as well use shotguns. These homing machine guns are annoying as hell. I don't even want to play until a new "rebalance " is done. There's no point going against them.

Because they have a system where the more you spend the more expensive the deals are for example I spent4.99 for 40k gold then the next month or two I never even checked the black market and then it popped up again if you want to spend a lot it’s beast to spend it in 1 day as the longer it takes you to spend it the longer the you’ll have to wait for a actual good deal
Even before the nerf, you have to take range into account, as well as the bending quality, not to mention the auto reload. Smuta is better than the avenger pre nerf or post nerf, because smuta users won't ever let an avenger user get close enough to do anything, unless they are abhorrent at the game.

The Fenrir's weakness is that it is usually too slow to close the distance in time to actually start fighting, but just like the cryo lasers used to, these new weapons can negate that weakness by being a midrange with the power of a brawler. Also, 10 seconds of reload for the avenger is one of the biggest weaknesses it has. It is unsuitable for sustained combat with anything equal to or sturdier than a mender, and the avenger's effective range is only 250 meters. Any further and half the bullets would not even connect.
