Beaten this game several times and never knew about the slicer (and I seldom ''stole'' items so I dont think I ever had it either). This was a good video
I wish this game had more secret bosses and stronger ones. I had a strategy guide for this game, but it was crappy and didn't say how to get most of the good stuff, so I beat everything with relatively mediocre equipment.
Both videos are super helpful, maybe a video about how to level up each character with different masters, or what skills give to each party member will put the icing on the cake! Thanks for this videos!

Cray's best weapon is situational, but in the grand scheme of things the "Linked Pole" is his best weapon (no question). It's only 12 atk less than the Nunchaku, BUT it gains an extra 25% bonus damage to strong enemies and in the 2nd half of the game you are almost always fighting strong enemies. With that 25% extra damage it completely outclasses the Nunchaku. Also, you can use whichever master you want with the Linked Pole.
Flail is also a excellent weapon for Cray. It only have 45 attack but its the only club that hits twice. The logic is simple, 2x1800 is better than 1x2500.
I had farmed all the items in this list, but now I have to farm them all over again... In my first playthrough I made the mistake of leveling Ursula under Abbess, so I started a new save with her under Kryik.

Right now I lack free time. I think I wont touch BOF4 for a time now. Goo king sword is dropped by the goo kings in fou lus castle. You just have to fight them and be lucky enough to make them drop it.
Try stealing the apple from him first. This will make him angry lowering the chance of him trying to scape and only leave the sword as a possible drop. Keep in mind that the drop rate is extremely low. If you are playing in a emulator you can use save state to speed up the process. Also that sword is not as powerful as the ones mentioned in the video.

Royal Sword has higher power and it's also two hits, Slicer it's 2 hits and ignores defense, and Cursed sword is the only weapon that enhances your power above the 999 cap. Slayer only features are restoring a bit hp, 2 hits, and the drawback of accidental hitting your allies. So how can it produce more damage then the swords above?

Agreed 100%. game isnt easy like ff series but once you overlvl you can beat any boss and any monster to the point where the fun is killed

At power level of 999 or close, Cursed sword is the best. It’s the only sword that gives bonus power beyond the 999 cap.

You must kill that monster at same time with combo it will drop more often than killed one by one

Slayer best sword in my opinion.
Not by a long shot. The three swords he mentions hit way harder than slayer.
