Honestly, I pulled for Koishi simply because I liked the art and 50 free pulls to get her is not bad. And then I've got Satori is a single ten-pull, so I can just drop my daily pulls in Koishi for maybe getting another copy =)
White Koishi is a LITERAL recolor of L1 Koishi. Exact same sprite animations. It was bad when Red Marisa and Black Youmu did it, but the game was still newer at the time. Now? There's no excuse for such laziness. This game is on a bad path. No new story for months at a time, boring extra stages that require new units to efficiently farm, a severe lack of endgame outside of farming, powercreep on every single banner, EPIC FES FRIENDS WITH NO PITY...just miserable. Something needs to change, because people can only roll so many reskins and recolors before they realize the devs are completely out of ideas.
Also the grind for epic rest are just a goddam pain . Getting a ultra doll is a pain for itself . Epic fest are basically that but 10x . Progression feels so damn slow tbh . I probably max out other gacha game character before I get one character to level 70 on lost word . Summing on this also feels like work tbh . Selling a card after a pull them doing it again feels so damn tedious compared to other games where you pull as much as long you are rich . The way you avoid this problem of the game is get enough God prisim but the problem is that this game expect you to use God prisims more than regular prisim . The thing so that God prisims are basically painite while prisism are just dirt compared to them . Hmmm did I say this already , na I gotta do this 100 more . Imo pity is very God am important , removing it shouldn't even be a option but yet my temper of getting whoishi got to me . Also TWO EPIC FEST at the same time summer reimu and summer marisa . In no shape or form should this game get used to releasing epic fest . It's should be when times are right because having no pity already tells you this $hit is real but if it's not then you are basically just $hitty . Epic fest should have larger times because it's a goddam pityless banner , it's a special type of banner but no it has least time than toyorhime first banner .Plus these just give you another card that will add extra time on you summoning . Here's my fix don't make us spend storage with God prisim and instead use regular and need the pricing for a less louder and sh&tties summoning experience . Also if you wanna make epic fest compromise for having no pity but don't wanna make a epic fest don't have more banner time than most banner I see then you should probably give it something like 50-100 pulls each you get garnered character like 600 for prisim or give them a 0.1% higher percentage than most ultra or relic fest like 0.6 instead of 0.5 . Hmm idk I might did some mistakes for being too drunk on this
If i'm honest i like the game and i play a lot, i love all New characters who appear in history and personality, but i'll be not blind about these actual errors and how is more expensive to obtain the relic and the epic units,the little changes about of these New units about the other characters, and how is a little terrific that things and for me the worst part they don't put New history

The thing that makes Koishi a good unit is unlike she receives decent buffs and cooldown, her main attraction is that they are highlighting her breaking value. in her skill she inflicts 3 poison anomaly barriers and the cooldown of the skill is three turns which is a good thing because you can almost spam her poison anomaly not only that but her spell card 2 is an AoE attack that can inflict 3 poison and at the same time breaks it (to non-poison immune enemies of course). If you put her on the battlefield, she can break 6 barriers and almost at seven if the character has metal or wood debuffs. It is a big deal because she alone can solo the wosd card with only 5 sp (if all skill one and three are max) even if one fairy has a wood resist which is a game changer in farming. So overall she is more than decent and would recommend rolling for her first even if you don't have any limit break materials because she is already good even at 5sp.
Its basically how like for modern units, breaks are always like 6 of one element 3 of two elements each in a row 3 of two elements each alternating It is really true that what is good in this game is very like strict, which leads to every character having the same skills basically (Spirit P up, yin/yang attack up, etc) and kits, and if you don't have that, then you're just bad lol
and That one with older gen unit SC1-2: 3-6 NO, 0-3 Elements, SCLW: 2-4 NO, 2-4 Elements (sometimes an unit without element breaks) Lack or nothing of killers and damage scaling Sometimes they had "Aid" Spellcards Sometimes they had "Rebound" reducing HP in fixed percent 1 to 2 effects per skills with selfish own skill (sometimes useless one like Increase own Agility 1UP) and take longer cooldown (example: Increase Yin ATK 1 UP for 2T (CD: 5 Turn)) Horrible ATK Stats or very high agility than ATK Spoiler: the next efes will be double ones starting with C1
I mean... at this point every meta unit has to have everything that the other meta units have to be worth for the players to pull for them, if not look at the poor Blue Hecc or Beach Marisa, kinda sad that the powercreep reached this kind of point.
this video felt somewhat sad, and tbh i can understand, lw devs seems to be very limited to doing the same things, and that is not good because pretty much everything has been optimized to it's fullest, we have insane breaks, damage, sp gain, buffs, all in one character, so now every new unit feels like a "+1" of something that we already have i hope they eventually come up with a huge change, otherwise it'll get boring (i mean, for some its already boring lol)
First question, did you pull Epic Koishi that quickly? If so, I’m impressed and kind of jealous. Now my numerous thoughts on the “copy and paste” design for character gameplay. I apologize in advance, but I have a lot to say. I feel like it’s okay to have some similarities between previous meta characters in terms of what kind of niche they can fulfill in their class type. However, it’s a different story if they do a true copy and paste and they made some premium character do EVERYTHING a previous did including on their passives, but better. For example, if someone copy and pasted Otohime’s kit on somebody else, but made them better, it just feels kinda bad and lazy. I don’t usually bring up other mobile gacha games in these types of discussions, but Fire Emblem Heroes (Feh) has had numerous situations where characters who were in a similar unit class type needed to have a distinct niche in order for players to invest in to keep up with the meta as time went on. This even goes to the 5-Star locked characters that don’t get a weapon refine until MUCH later on. Also, FEH might have it slightly worse than Lost Word because many new premium characters have some form of effect that everyone runs in the meta and just copy paste the skill, but with a different side effect. For example, Every fast character has to have some form of damage reduction or follow-up denial. Overall, elements aside, in my opinion, the devs are making these premium characters having just enough distinction to make them stand out. However, I do agree that they shouldn’t continue to do this type of copy and paste approach for too much longer and make truly new and dynamic friends to mess around with. With all that over, I Don’t have much to say about Tiny Satori or Epic Koishi. However, it is strange that Koishi doesn’t have way to supply crit attack for her amazing killers. She has crit Def down, but statistically the crit attack is more important to prioritize for doing killer bullet damage compared to defense. I apologize again for the long rant-like thoughts on this, but I hope it was all explained well enough. If you want to ask for any clarification, feel free.
yea thats the problem, because of powercreep, they have made it so every good char needs self buffs, full elements, anomaly breaks and killers. So now they are forced to put these things on every character, or they get shafted like poor beach mors who just lacks killers

Btw, Epic Koishi blessed me after I tried to do Tiny Satori EX with none of the core units. While I got close, my best laser friends didn’t get enough damage output on the last gauge. One normal ten pull while I tried to go for the new Story card. Insane. Hopefully a Level 90 Epic Koishi can still be great for the EX stage.
I hate feh they ruined that game so bad ugh oh well! that comes with powercreep but was hoping they wouldn't do it so much but did :( Love the book story themes tho they are cool!

Yeah that's a bit concerning for the long term viability of the game with the top end epic fest characters being so samey. If I was the developers after the release of Bluemu, I would A: Have used her to act as a power ceiling for future of epic characters. B: Then separate the unique abilities/Skill Effects which make a character good. Any Epic character will only be able to have only half of those skills, this creates the most permutations and hence varieties for the Characters/Epic Characters available in the future. If Bluemu was too powerful make all future EX stages immune to paralysis breaks. If it was up to me, while counter intuitive, I would make Epic Characters gain a lot in power as you Brick them, ie effects on their Spells increase in power + turns as you awaken them. It's probably being said before. Bluemu has a Unique sprite but has a reused animation for her Last Word. While White Koshi has a unique animation for a LW but is a re-skin of L1.
