ベートーヴェン生誕250周年の今年（2020年）、4月〜9月に企画されていたYAMATO String Quartet による「ベートーヴェン中期・後期弦楽四重奏全曲公演」ですが、新型コロナウイルスのために延期され、8/5〜9/6の１ヶ月で全公演を開催しました。客席を50%に制限したため、昼夜2回行われた公演の夜公演の記録映像です。
通常、YAMATO String Quartetのコンサートを無料で配信することはありませんが、今回はJ-LOD「日本発のコンテンツの海外展開」の意図に沿って配信致します。滅多に見られないYAMATO String Quartetのクラシック公演をお楽しみいただければ幸いです。
The year 2020 marks the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. Yamato String Quartet had planned concerts to play all of the composer’s Middle and Late Quartets during April and September. But we had to postpone them due to the coronavirus pandemic, and instead held them just in a one-month period - from August 5 to September 6. We performed twice a day, as we had to limit the number of audiences per concert to half. This video is from a performance in the evening.
We usually don’t distribute our concert footage free of charge. But this time, we’re releasing them in line with the intention of Japan content LOcalization and Distribution, or J-LOD.
Yamato String Quartet rarely performs concerts with only classical pieces. Please enjoy!
