"For the Lord God omnipotent reigneth, king of kings and lord of lords, and he shall reign for ever and ever, hallelujah." Its a powerful message, one that definitely stirred the emotions of King George II, and as a result the reason why everyone stands during the performance of the Hallelujah chorus.
When I was young every year I would sing in the combined church Choirs in Sydney Town Hall - the choir was 600 voices and the organist playing the massive organ in the Sydney Town Hall was only 16 - he played for the entire performance - your spirited performance Paul brought back so many wonderful memories - thank you so much. Bless you
You make me wish and long to learn the organ. You are good at what you do Paul, please keep doing this. I see the passion in you. Great organ, great masterpiece, great playing. Well done Paul.
Dankedanke.
Awesome work! This is the best of all arrangements for pipe organ I ever heard, with great respect to wonderful baroque instrument. Many thanks for that!
Thanks Paul ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️This Halleluja is a Ceremonial Anthem in my Diocese. At the end of any ceremonial worship, it will be sung by whole congregation ❤️❤️❤️
Hallo, lieber Paul. Super Spiel und super Interpretation von Dir. Sehr wohlklingend auf der Silbermann-Orgel. Danke für Deine Darbietung. Eine gute Zeit für Dich! Liebe Grüße von Steffen aus Görlitz.
I love the sounds coming out of this organ. From the first note, it made me smile. Also could have something to do with the piece, and the playing? 😉 (lots of "handwash" clapping for this one)
Love to see you play with "heart and soul!" How can one choose? Pachelbel-Cannon in D, Mozart-Requiem, Bach-Brandenburg Concerto, Handel-Messiah ..... what can one say?
Thank you!! That’s the Dubois-Transcription for Organ from Imslp. Please find a link attached 😀 s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/7/7c/IMSLP10587-Messiah_Hallelujah_(Handel).pdf
To be honest, I have listened to a very good performance of this piece in the past and concerned it as probably the best one heard Now I realised, how wrong I've been
Thank you for watching, Steven! Haha, true - but this time it’s not mine. That’s the Organ Transcription from Dubois - you can find it on imslp for free, linked here: s9.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/7/7c/IMSLP10587-Messiah_Hallelujah_(Handel).pdf
Articulate and makes good use of resources. Please make a recording of Vaughan Williams Rhosymedre and Mendelssohn Sonata No 1 - I have a special reason to ask
Enjoyed this very much. Is this Handel's score or a transcription? I can't remember what he first wrote it for. I always assumed it was for chorus and orchestra. Regardless, a fine recital on an interesting organ. Zugabe!
Hey Bruce, no need to buy it - you can download it for free on imslp! Please find a link attached - thank you for watching 😀 Link: vmirror.imslp.org/files/imglnks/usimg/7/7c/IMSLP10587-Messiah_Hallelujah_(Handel).pdf
