"The Terex TE210 is a specialty mining excavator specifically designed for large diameter tunneling. It differs from standard excavators to be able to dig more precisely and powerfully within the confinement of a tunnel cross section. The machine kinematics are designed to limit the boom height and allow for a pivoting dipper rotation that is not possible with standard excavators. This allows the machine to use it’s full range of motion and power to effectively excavate the tunnel. It can be outfitted with multiple attachments including a bucket, ripper, or rotational grinder to address varying strength rock/soil conditions." - Brian Harris DTDS
