Jamaica has a ridiculous amount of junior talent ....any notion the USA will rule the world is just not on! There is too much international interest and investment in Jamaican athletes for that to happen long term!

By the time the Olympics start Shericka will be 30, Elaine 32 and Shelly-Ann 37. By contrast Sha'Carri is only 24 (as are Long & Steiner), Terry & Clark 25, Thomas 27 & Hobbs is oldest at 28. Jefferson is 23 & Tamari Davis is just 21. The USA victories in the 4x100 relays at the last 2 World Championships was merely a harbinger of future trends. The symbolic torch is being passed from the Jamaican women to the American women.
