Bulls fans sound like the women (real or imagined) that Red Pill channels complain about - always comparing perfectly good realities to media hype and convincing themselves they're 'settling'. Josh Giddey has 11 triple doubles at Age 21. I've always loved Coby White, and he hasn't had one triple-double in his whole career. Giddey is a rare player, and as nice a defender as Caruso is, he's 30, and misses a TON of games. The Bulls didn't settle. The Bulls WON the Caruso trade. Anyone who disagrees just doesn't understand how good Giddey is.
I think the trade criticism comes from a strategic standpoint. The perception is the Bulls aren’t optimizing their roster to win now or collect assets for the future. The strategy is stay good enough that ppl will keep buying tickets. That’s what pisses me off.
Do you understand if we traded caruso last February we would have gotten picks? Thus management screwed us and now they realize it's time to rebuild. That zach max is a prime example Giddy is a good trade, but we have a long way to go

The bulls have no business beefing with Zach, especially with the decision that Ak and Billy have been making. Billy could do no wrong as he works his way up the ladder, meanwhile Ak downplayed the direction the team was going mid season when he could've trade DeMar, Caruso, Vooch, and Drummond for Future picks and expiring contracts...now we trade Caruso with no draft capital, and DeMar and Drummond could be possibly walking. I think the fan base is just happy that Ak is stuck between a rock and a hard place and can only make one decision.
Why do the Bulls always seemed to get fleeced in trades? They are incapable of getting all stars or draft picks, and this goes back to the garpax days. You see teams like the Bucks getting Damien Lilard or the Mavs getting Kyrie. On the flip side, you see teams like the nets getting a boat load of draft picks. However, the Bulls never get any types of trades like this. It seems like people see Bulls management as idiots to be taken for a ride.

Yeah, that Caruso was definitely a lazy ass trade. It's like a scammer offering that trade when you're drunk or when they know you're dumb. Sam Presti knows it. Even non-basketball savvy people can see that. I mean Bulls didn't even wait for other offers considering Caruso was a hot item. Multiple teams were interested in AC. Even Steve Kerr of Golden State was vocal about wanting AC. Bulls could have started the negotiation with Giddey + 3 first round picks and don't give in until you get at least 2 first round picks. Everyone in the league already knows Giddey is damaged goods. People from Bulls org or some blind fans are just using the "still young" Giddey reasoning to soften the blow but everyone knows what damaged goods is. Just like other previously high draft picks, Simmons and Fultz. They were both very young but obviously damaged goods. Sam Presti must be laughing his ass off.
You had Justin go get two of the best receivers, a center and an edge rusher. Or play it Hoboykin style and do some Goofy 💩! Get a QB even though you already have a freaking cyborg that can win with just his talent. With his offensive coordinator, tripping. With his head coach unaware. With one receiver. The one receiver had a career best year. Imagine having a shot at multiple first round picks after trading down and still getting two of the best receivers in the draft. 🤦🏾♂️

Stacey King, as tough as it is to watch Bulls games at times listening to Stacey is a joy one of the best in the business.
