    Brother , I am a Sub-Inspector in the Delhi Police, and the work here is overwhelming. We often have to work more than 14 hours a day, constantly shuttling between court and the police station, managing files, and conducting investigations. The things we witness and hear daily-cases of murder and other crimes-take a toll on us mentally. On top of that, the workload is immense, leaving us stressed and exhausted. Unfortunately, no one in the department seems to be taking any steps to improve our work-life balance or introduce better shift systems.

      that's very sad, man, I am sorry to hear this. Maybe incorporate short meditation sessions. Naps, or non sleep rest when you are in the backseat of a car. Lot of working out. Noise cancelling headphones to minimise the noise pollution.

    We need to understand that work is just one aspect of life, not life itself. Other aspects like social life, hobbies, sports, etc. are just equally important! These big corporations want to be like USA and will give blabbering of 70 hrs a week but will never have the gutz to pay hourly.

    I was a l&t employee for 18 months and trust me I have worked 28 days per month including 2 sundays out of 4 sunday in month . Daily 12 hour work shift excluding travel time , include travel in that and it will go 14 hour a day and even on sundays we are forced to work .
    Being a engineer from NIT , we deserve better . Salary below 50k .

    The things you said around 12:12 , made me cry honestly , I am stuck with a mother who never raised me and now I am circumstancially stuck with her , and its all duty based relationship and I had thrown millions of needs out of window to keep her and many others quiet...daily apni skills and portfolio ki taraf mehnat kar raha hu toh bhi kisi random insaan see comparison hota rehta hai (jisko mein kabhi Maine aaj take nahi dekha ) , I struggle with mental health on a daily basis and I'm toxically involving myself into work and in this today I made 20-30 errors , hence slow work speed and wasting time but it is The only thing that is keeping me alive , I'm completely isolated with no one in my real life to understand and at this point its all killing me on the inside

    A fellow nurse commenting here, living and working in gulf, our working hours are capped to max 12hr per day that too with overtime and mandatory one day off per week to recover.
    So completely agree that increasing number of working hours is just not l feasible in the long term health of ourselves and of course our patients.

    Doctors especially post graduates work more than 110 hours a week for three years continuously in their pg and thereafter as well including sleepless nights every alternate day. Toxic environment and paid pennies. Pls talk about it sir. Working day in and out along with patient’s relatives attacking and abusing doctors as well. Pls raise this issue sir. We have to work even when we are dead tired. And , we work on sundays too 🥲

    CEO's multipliers for their work hours are huge. Regular employees' multiplier for their work hours are really small.
    CEO and senior management's nature of work is very different - literally flying in business class and attending meetings is defined as work. Grunt work is less.

    I wanted one advice , what kind of meditation should I do other than trataka(since dr k said it is not very safe to do it on your own) for increasing focus and concentration .     So this is third day of writing a comment. As my health is much better from yesterday, I start with a very small target setting...of doing exercise daily✅. Along with that, I also set a goal that I just want to nomenclature "project dream," as I want to start from a very long time... a bit about my day, so today is my practical, which doesn't go much well par pass ho jaunga par. i feel an elevation in my life.

    losing weight of 1.5 kg

    -healthy food + cardio 45 min 3 cycles
    these 30-35 hours were the most intense work hours since the 2025 has started
    in order to avoid sleep i was doing cardio and kept washing my face with cold water trust me this was not easy
