The Loverboy Method is actually a very dangerous tactic. Because there is nothing worse than luring someone in with a false sense of security. And one of these Bone Heads (It might be both of them to be fair, but I can't remember which one said it on camera) tries to say "Oh they invented the Loverboy Method just to come after me, just because I am being nice". Like, the Loverboy Method is something that has been investigated for years before the Tate's were on the scene. It is a proven tactic when it comes to trafficking. As for Stockholm Syndrome, it would be no surprise if most of the women under their control suffer from that. But again, you have some people trying to say that's a made-up thing. It's good you are shedding as much light as you can on these topics. But it's just a shame people don't do their own research and decide to choose to take the Tate's word upfront.

It comes from uneducated minds. They don't have the capacity to do the research or even try to educate themselves to understand such things. That's half the problem. The other half is these people relying on the uneducated to believe their bs! Tbh it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand this stuff, and it only proves the lack of morality and ignorance of some people.

For anyone wanting to reply still to downplay it, read these words. Get a parent or teacher to explain this to you:
The loverboy method still needs to fit the legal definition of human trafficking. It is merely using a false relationship/romance as the means of recruitment.
For all of you who give whiny incel "well what about lovergirls?" replies: it still needs to end in exploitation with something like commercial sex work or slave labour, etc. Did the girls at your high school do that to you? I didn't think so.

It’s not love as in healthy affection. They create love addiction/limerence in the victim. That’s why they target very young or already traumatized/vulnerable girls who are much more impressionable and susceptible to undue influence. It’s like she’s in a cult of one. Her entire existence and life depends on his acceptance as far as she’s concerned. This happens unintentionally sometimes in women with BPD, but these types of traffickers know the recipe and create it within their victims. Calling it love is like calling a drug dealer a pharmacist.

If we’re talking about legal adults in a jurisdiction where OF/cam site work is legal, at what point do we say that the adults are responsible for their own actions?
The only legal issue I can think of is entering into a business agreement under false pretense, but that also stands on shaky legs if the adults are free to leave when they have the full picture of the situation they’re in.
Emotional manipulation cannot be defined with a law

    • @Gadget440
      @Gadget440  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

You're misunderstanding what happened here. Tate created a false romantic relationship with the sole purpose of exploiting the women in p*ornography. Recruitment under deceptive means, transportation and exploitation.
There is also evidence of them using violence and threats of violence, blackmail, false debts and 24/7 monitoring to keep them working for them. Tate would take 100% of some of their earnings, and defraud all of them out of pay.
The idea that anyone is suggesting that merely having a webcam business is illegal is a ridiculous strawman argument.

@@Gadget440 I meant that there’s too much attention given to the whole lover boy method which is a very legally vague term, and gives the Tates plausible deniability because the whole concept treats adult women as dum dums. The crime here is fraud and intimidation with threats of violence which in combination with the financial control results in trafficking, how they lured the victims while morally despicable, doesn’t seem illegal to me when talking about grown adults.

@@porterhouse937 there's nothing new or vague about it, it's very well known as a tactic for human trafficking.

It’s a shame that Stockholm syndrome is mentioned here as it’s far from that.
SHS relies on the victim knowing their capture is in serious trouble and negotiating with the state (or some other power able to smite) and starts from this position.
The LBM is so different- it’s basically tricking a fragile young mind that “we” are in love. Anyone with experience in this from either direction will know love is blind.

Here’s the cold, unvarnished truth about the insanity of following figures like Andrew Tate:
The harshest reality is that many who worship at the altar of someone like Tate are willing participants in their own moral decay. They are not just victims of manipulation; they choose it because it reflects their darkest desires for power, control, and dominance. They see themselves in Tate-not in his achievements, but in his willingness to spit on decency and laugh as the world burns around him.
Let’s strip away the lies: people cling to figures like Tate not out of ignorance, but out of complicity. They are drawn to the idea that you can use others, bend them to your will, and call it success. They want the power to exploit and feel superior to others because that is easier than confronting their own insignificance in a world that doesn’t care. They don’t care that Tate may be involved in trafficking, exploitation, or financial fraud because they have already bought into the lie that the ends justify the means. In Tate, they see an embodiment of what they secretly wish they could get away with.
And let’s not sugarcoat it-this isn’t just cognitive dissonance. This is moral cowardice. These people see the evidence, hear the allegations, but choose to look away because confronting the truth would mean admitting that they have been glorifying someone who stands for everything that should be condemned. The horrifying truth is that many of Tate’s followers would do the same things if given the chance. They are not deluded; they are enablers.
And for those hiding behind religion-claiming that Tate’s selective identity as a Muslim or Christian somehow sanctifies him-you are worse than fools; you are hypocrites of the highest order. If you can look at someone who allegedly abuses, exploits, and manipulates women, and still see a “man of God,” then your faith is nothing more than a hollow shield for your own moral failings. You don’t follow God-you follow power, and that makes you no different than any other opportunist who uses religion as a crutch for their failures.
At the end of the day, this is about more than just Tate. It’s about a society that has allowed its young men to become so starved for meaning, for identity, that they’ll latch onto the most toxic, destructive figures if it means feeling like they’re in control. The real tragedy is not just that Andrew Tate exists, but that there is a demand for people like him-because, deep down, too many would rather believe in the fantasy of domination than in the reality of compassion and integrity.
In this, Tate’s followers aren’t victims; they’re complicit architects of their own-and society’s-moral collapse.

The Lover Both Method is in fact an invented phenomenon to go after men who might have played nice to people they wanted something out of. That "something," is what determines if a law was broken or not. My high school buddies used the Lover Boy Method to try to have sex with girls usually unsuccessfully, And women use the Lover Girl Method to get marriages out of men they don't really love. An invented idea to support vilification of these two. Let the justice system work. So far, it hasn't found anything that leads to a guilty judgement.
